Hi all... wasn't quite sure where to post this, but thought that perhaps fellow pcos-ers might be in here lol
Was wondering is it common to experience some pain or discomfort from ovaries if one has pcos? I stopped taking bcp about 3 weeks ago, last few days been getting on and off twinges, coming from my lower abdomen assuming where my ovaries are (feels like an ovary kind of pain anyway?! lol) It's not really bad, more just a bit of discomfort, but I don't remember having it before.. thought it might be to do with stopping bcp..? It sounds a bit like ovulation pain, but it's been on and off for about 5 days now (although I noticed it more today, particularly on my right side, whereas before it was both sides) so I figured that was too long for ov pains PLUS I've been doing OPKs which have so far all been negative!
Do the cysts on the ovaries cause pain/discomfort?
