Please pray for us if you are so inclined

Hello everyone,

I am requesting a short prayer from anyone who is inclined to do so. I just received a phone call from my OB clinic with the results of my AFP blood screening and have shown an elevation in whatever they test for spina bifida. They are getting me an appointment asap with maternal fetal medicine to do further testing. I know the test has a 15% margin of error, but I am scared out of my mind.

Just remember that spina bifida isn't the end of the world and it can sometimes not be a really serious problem! Just try not to google things as it will cause you to worry a lot more!

Another poster posted the same thing recently and was SO worried and went for further testing and her baby was fine... I really am praying everything is ok for you.. please let us know how you get on xxxxx
