positive opk @ 8dpo...HELP!!!

the hematologist just called and asked have i ever had any scans and at first i said no but then i remembered i had u/s so i said wait are we talking about any scan and she said yes like u/s etc and i said yes earlier this year and she said that they are going to need those documents faxed over to them so now im on the phone trying to get in contact with the referral department and this stupid nurse is giving me a hard time and not listening to what im saying :growlmad: So just had to put her in her place because i really dont have to argue with her. Im glad i got a new primary doctor. Now, im feeling good about tomorrow because they want the scan records so im assuming they want something to compare to which means im one step closer to our rainbow baby :happydance:

WOW MzSwizz- sorry you came home to all that! I thought MIL said she hadn't moved in yet? And your mom should realize that the day or day after you leave from seeing DH isn't the best time to decide to spill all of her opinions. How rude!

If AF keeps it up for you, you may want to ask your doc for stronger or different BC. I know everyone's different, but I don't remember having prolonged bleeding on BC. It would actually stop my bleeding issues in a few days- maybe a week if I remember correctly.

For me, my temp was back down today.... grrr... my chart looks terrible. Last night I was optimistic because I felt really hot and my temp was up a bit. But I had some stomach issues and once those were resolved I felt much cooler.

Wrote that earlier then never posted it for some reason...

Sometimes I really wonder about the staff at these drs offices. It's YOUR scan, your medical file. They should do whatever you want with them.

astito, 8 dpo is super-early. Give it at least another 3 days before feeling out.... and even then you could have another 5 days without a bfp.

Ok well I'm not at all saying that I ovulated, but I was thinking that maybe this is how my body reacts to increased progesterone. I had mentioned my temps to my mom yesterday and she basically said "Well your body doesn't do anything else normally, so what do you expect?"... Which is the truth... So just now I decided to see what my temps looked like on Provera (synthetic Progesterone) and this is from the end of June and the end of Oct.... Provera is the light green block of color for 5 days. The first temp on Provera wouldn't count because I didn't take Provera til night. Now the Provera did do what it was supposed to do (induced AF), but my temps definitely were a bit wacky. They were higher than they are now, too, though. Anyway, just thinking "out loud" here.

The thing that really has me wondering is the cm. The long period of watery cm, then to dry/sticky, then the clumpy kind (rare for me), and the past few days I've had tons and tons of creamy cm. Maybe I haven't paid attention much when it's creamy, but I seriously don't ever remember having this much creamy cm. Anyway, there I go blabbering again.

L.E. mother didnt move out yet BUT while i was gone, she moved more stuff in and after she moved stuff in is when the lawyer called her so there's stuff here but she is still at her house. And I wish my mom wouldnt be so rude MAJORITY of the time smh. At the end of the doc phone call, they said they not going to fax it over until they get a medical release form sent to them :growlmad: So i called the hematologist and they said not to worry about it because everything will get solved tomorrow  And i am going to talk to my doc about the bleeding. Now about your chart maybe it is the meds and everything. Hmm

I hope your MIL moves her stuff back out, at least to a storage area. Maybe you're too nice. :flower: I mean, I AM a nice person, and some people would even call me sweet lol.... But with my dad, I have to be blunt and snippy. He has a VERY strong personality and thinks he's really something special and better than everyone, and knows more than everyone, so I have to put him in his place sometimes. :muaha: There were several years where I didn't talk to him and I would do it again if I had to. I don't think a dad's place is to tear everyone down, including his kids. None of us deserve it or need it. Anyway, sometimes you just have to lay down the law.:grr:

Thanks L.E. and yes. I even started with taking HER picture down off my wall and putting DH and I's engagement picture up. She is going to get a stern talk and I know they see me as being a sweet person BUT dont tempt me :haha:

AFM, im cd13 today and AF has finally left the building today. So pretty much 12 days of bleeding. Well, it wasnt THAT bad compared to regular bleeding in which i bled for 2 or more weeks. Well, I only have 3 more pills left for month 1 pack  Time is really flying. My midwife had gave me 2 packs so I wont need a refill until around January. So im good to go. My doc appt is in a couple hours  I have also researched about extended AFs during the first month of using Lo Loestrin Fe and to my surprise....its actually normal. When having a long AF while on this BC, they call it a breakthrough bleed. And most women who talked to their docs about the bleeding were told to wait 3 months...so just give it time. So that put my mind to ease that its normal to have a long AF the first month of using it. Im just glad i wasnt like most of those women who bled for months :nope: Hoping my next AF is shorter and much better than this 1st one. But we shall see. My birthday is in 23 more days and DH will be home in 16 more days :happydance: I know this time will fly by. Im hoping that while he is here..I have some doc appts so he can come with me and be there to see what I've been going through to get things done and just be there as my support system :cloud9: Will update about the docs when I get home.

MzSwizz, waiting to hear about the doc appt! So glad AF finally left! She really know how to overstay her welcome.

In a hurry for DH's dentist appt, but I think I got about 3.5 hrs sleep. Couldn't fall asleep last night. It was crazy. Anyway, BBT was up today. First reading was 97.47 but thermometer still felt cold in my mouth. Next was 97.57 and 97.55, so I compromised and went with the 97.55. It was 97.7-97.8 when I went to sleep so I think it was pretty accurate. Usually my temp keeps dropping the longer I lay there and last night it stayed high. Well that's it for me for now. I'll check back later to see your update.

L.E. hmmm maybe your high temp is a good sign...im hoping it is.

hematologist appt: well it went pretty good. The doc is amazing and my platelets level is a little high still but its due to heavy bleeding AFs. He said once it reaches the 600s and up then it is known as a problem but he said it is common for it to be a little higher than the normal because i have heavy bleeding. He told me to continue doing scans etc with my ob/gyn and keep taking the birth control to fix the heavy bleeding problem and everything will be fine  My next appt with him is on jan. 2nd  Also, he said im not at any risk and im very healthy and he didnt want to do any scans because they weren't going to be necessary so thats good and he also said he didnt want to do the scans since it wasnt necessary and he dont want to put me at a high risk for breast cancer by doing scans when he knows for a fact that the level being a little high is based on my heavy bleeding. So good looking out doc :haha:

Yay. So does the elevated level still pose a risk for pregnancy? Or would you be fine since a clotting disorder is now ruled out?

If I take out any one of the low temps the past week, I get solid cross-hairs for O on CD27. I'm not going to do it. If my temps stay higher, FF will give the CH for CD29. If they keep going wacko, I could get O for the 29th, 34th, not at all.... pure craziness. Still waiting waiting waiting. Another few days to a week should bring some answers.

L.E. as far as I know, the elevated levels does not post any risk at all  He just told me that its just due to me having heavy bleeding during periods which causes the levels to become a little more elevated but they are NOT in the abnormal range so i was very happy to hear that. And hopefully you get your crosshairs soon...im waiting for you to get your bfp

L.E. i wonder why your temps are erratic.

AFM, im on cd14 today and went to my ob/gyn appt today. I had my annual pap smear and talked about the effects of birth control and everything. She wants me to come back in March. She wants me to wait until month 4 to see if my AF is going to regulate to showing up on week 4 of the BC each month. So im hoping that my AFs regulate to showing up on week 4 because if it does..that mean im going back to a 28 day cycle  I had some spotting after the pap smear which is normal but now im having sharp, shooting pains through my back  So now I got an appt in january for the hematologist, appt in february for my primary care doctor, and appt in march for the ob/gyn  And then in April...i will be off of the BC :happydance:

Lots of appts coming up for you. Maybe your cervix got irritated. That's the only think I can think of for the pains. Hope they're gone soon.

My temps ARE weird, but they're mostly following a pattern. I'm not too concerned. I figured if I didn't O, then my body is just rebelling from failed O. Don't know. But I have less than a week to worry about it, then I start the Provera and Clomid again. I'm hoping my doc ups the dosage for me and then of course I hope it works. Trying to be patient though it all.

L.E. im pretty sure that my cervix got irritated. Im not worried. I only spotted when she was putting the sample up but now there is no spotting so everything is good  But im still having these shooting pains. I'll be okay though. And im hoping they up your dose so you can finally ov

Well I thought since I had 2 low temps, maybe they would stay low and I'd try to O again... no such luck... temp back up higher today. What a wacky chart! Oh well... just a few days and I'll be starting over again.

Oh and yesterday I went to the dollar store and didn't buy any tests! Yay me! Between the Wondfos being dark a lot, and 4 days of positive First Response tests, I'm sort of over OPKs right now.
