Post Your Cloth Bum Pics!

The dragon tail nappy is so cool!

I've had a hard time finding cloth to fit Sophie lately and these seem to be ok. Snap-in nappies by Yoyo which is a New Zealand brand. I think they are the same as the original Close Pop-ins.

The rise is perfect, I just wish the velcro tab wings were wider. As she slims out and gets taller that shouldn't be an issue.

A cheap 'Econepia' pocket nappy gaping open at the front like all her old ones do:

She's a cutie!

I'm having trouble with Finn's diapers being loose in the front like that too. Any idea why they do that? His pocket diapers didn't do it but the covers do. :(

It is annoying! Especially since Finn can't seem to keep his hands out of his diaper lately. It's not so fun to look down and wonder what's peeking out of his diaper... :haha:

Hahaha! Sophie is the same, I had taken about 20 of her in the red one and she had a hand shoved down in all but 3. She's trying to sneak it in there in the last pic I posted.

I think it has something to do with the shape and rise as well as what's being used as an insert underneath?

I can't get a good fit with anything but double rows of snaps they're often on a different setting for legs and belly so its not a surprise that Velcro ones can have tummy gape.

I have covers with Velcro, single row snaps, and double row. I can't seem to get any of them to work. I don't understand. It seems like the back of the diaper is tight but the front gaps open.

Underneath them I use either fitted diapers or flats. Same with both

She's so cute, Minties <3 Looks so much like her big bro, too! How are you finding the Yoyo? Dying to know!

Aww Minties, Sophie is just sooo scrummy!! She looks like such a character, love her expressions. No wonder she brings you so much joy.

Don't like the yoyo snap ins! Way too small. They are the smallest one size fits most nappy I have. I bought them to get something larger!

I emailed the lady at yoyo and she says I am the first to complain and she's sold thousands. They are only as wide across as a Real Nappy infant wrap (5-9kg). Was a waste of money. They are smaller than the 7-14kg wraps I have, and smaller than a Green Beginnings that goes to 13.6kg. The yoyo snap ins claim to fit a 16kg toddler but Sophie is around 12.5ish kilos and they are so tight.

They would be fabulous for 2-3 months to about 12 months though. Or if you have a very slender toddler. I really like them apart from the teeny tiny width at the back.

Sorry to hijack! Thanks for the compliments. She is a lovely girl and a huge delight to have around. She and Thomas are walking around the house holding hands right now.

Large thirsties wrap over flat (origami fold) and a safety pin.

Thanks! How do you find it, is it a duo cover? Sophie has the original large size covers not the duo ones, hers are 12.5-18kg. I have my eye on some secondhand duos in size 2 that do 8-18kg and hoping they fit well. These originals are pretty large, they fit on my son too (tried just for a laugh).

Yeah, they are the duos. :) I got them in size 2 and they seem to be great. My little guy is 24 lb (11 kg) with chunky little thighs still and they fit well around his legs. I find them a little strange to fit at the waist though. It seems they get tight at the back and they gape open in the front. They didn't seem quite so bad the last time I used them though. But, that could have been because I used flats the last time (origami fold) instead of a fitted underneath.

I bought all covers with snaps because I didn't want to deal with the velcro not sticking after a while and I didn't want him to open them too easily. Well, he opens the snaps super easy so there was my plan foiled! Haha! I did get one cover with velcro and that fits wonderful. I think I am going to have to get more. Oh well... Haha!

Thanks for that! Sophi is pretty chunky in the thigh area too.

I am nervous of snaps not fitting, I'm so used to Velcro. I don't think I have ever had any wear out but it's pretty easy to replace anyway.

Ooh I hope I win the duos now!

I hope you win them too! :)

I didn't mention that Finn is only 78 cm (almost 31 inches) so, yeah, chunky still. Haha! Although he really has thinned out a lot.

I'm definitely going to get more Velcro covers. I just need an excuse for dh to get more. Haha!

Sophie is a bit of a shorty too, though has grown a lot in the last 6 months. I think she is 82cm. She was on the 3rd centile for length for a long time.

I need an excuse too, so if you think of one, let me know :p

I sewed a basic fitted nappy from a towel, loosely based on an old cotton terry tots bots size 3. Terrible mobile pictures, sorry.

I didn't allow enough seam for turning the nappy the right way out on the wings, so had to chop them off and make some new ones.

I'm crazy about the snappi, I even unpicked the velcro from some other fitteds I have. Sophie was always telling me that it was scratching her.
