Post Your Cloth Bum Pics!

Yeah they work like any wool wrap, you don't need anything else. I bought them for added night time protection, but I'm going to test them in the day first! Lol. They are pre-loved and well worn so are slightly felted, nothing should get through them! :)

Love that top (and babylegs!) on Molly, I wish I had one like it!

Those longies look lovely!!!
It is so hot here though that even his tiny itti's are overheating him LOL

He went out in only his nappy yesterday haha
Funny though , last time in coffee group i ended up changing him and from half of the clas that intended on using cloth, i am the only one who is using them now!

Ill have to go on a mission to convert the girls again today ;)

Lol get converting Sam! I remember when we had a heatwave last summer, sometimes it was so hot we couldn't go out at all, Freya just hated it we had to have a fan on and just stay inside :(. I much prefer it cold I think!

Such lovely fluffy bums and woolly legs! :D

I remember that heatwave, I was so looking forward to some good weather and then it was so hot we couldn't go out, can't win!

The heatwave last June? Halen was born into it lol he spent the first 2 weeks of his life in just a nappy, sweating and crying cause he was so hot. He had like 4 cool baths a day, one of them being middle of the night as he just couldn't cool down.

I hope we have nice weather this year, not like that though! I wanna show off his cloth bummage!

Ladies I am now selling 4 Wonderoos, White, Pale Baby Blue, Sage Green and Royal Blue, none with inserts, £5 each, 2 for £7, all 4 for £18, all including postage.

LOVE those longies!!! :cloud9: Longies are the cutest things ever -- esp on little girls!

Ohhhh I love Dexter's nappy!!!! That is gorgeous!

So after seeing Freya's longies I decided I wanted to give them a try but since I didn't want to spend much money and can't really knit, I went in search of an alternative and found a pattern using the sleeves of old wool sweaters. I found a wool sweater for $4 in a thrift shop and it worked great- here is a pic of Emma in her recycled wool sweater longies and a pic of her with what's left of the sweater :)

Ooh Kaites, where did you get your pattern from? I would love to make some as Freya's fit lovely over her daytime nappies but they are not big enough for night time, and that was really what I got them for :dohh:.

Here's the pattern:

I had to tweak it a bit since the sleeves of the sweater weren't wide enough for her bum- I added a V-shaped panel in the bum to make them a bit wider but if the sweater had been bigger, that wouldn't have been a problem. They were super easy to make though so I bought a couple more sweaters to cannibalize :)
