PreSeed Club: We finally did it! 50th BFP announced :)

Thanks Jai. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. We tried for 7 months before getting this little bean. I actually did the clear blue easy opk, but the month I got pregnant I never got a positive. We did just stick to the SMEP even without a positive opk but I was ready to give up and see my doctor because I thought I must not be ovulating. The SMEP wasn't as stressful to us as the "Hey I need sex tonight and every day after!" because I informed him of it and he knew what was up as far as every other day etc. It basically caused a lot less hurt feelings, but by the end of the month it was exhausting.

I know this is the preseed club lol but I ordered fertilaid for women and fertilitea. Still using pre seed. But I thought I would give it a try v.s. More clomid. I should be getting them soon. Im sooo excited. I feel confident with ttc in 2012! I also read about conceive plus lubricant. Its like pre seed but I read that most couples used it in less time and got a BFP v.s pre seed. I think ill stick with what im using for now. Im on CD61 af didnt show yesterday. Its annoying

Also, I am out this month. No AF yet on CD 31 but I tested this morning and BFN. Looks as though I may have missed O again!! Go figure that once my cycle starts messing up, it's when I am TTC. I swear I have been 27, 28, of 29 days all last year. So frustrating... Here's to February!

Hello ladies! I hope you don't mind me peaking in and saying hello. I always keep an eye on this thread ever since my bfp. Saw the conversation about smep. I credit a huge part of our bfp to doing the sperm meets egg plan along with pre-seed.

I ovulated dec23rd. Babydanced that night. And days before and after. And got a BFN last night.

Londongirl, I know you have already had many replies, but I had to voice mine too. Pretty much the same thing happened to me. DH comes home from a bad day and is tired. I say it's time to go and he isn't into it. I beg, he says ok and we had terrible sex! At least yours turned out good. We decided that that could never happen again. Trying to keep it light and fun........trying.

I am going in for a Mayan massage on monday. Anyone ever heard of it? It is a fertility massage that actually focuses on the positioning of your reproductive organs (from the outside) It is supposed to help a lot. I thought I would try it. Has anyone here tried it? I will let you know how it goes. We're on month 8. Month 3 of preseed. Willing to try it all before I need to take further steps with the docs. Good luck to everyone who is about to test and ovulate

I've never heard of that massage, but it sounds interesting! Definitely something worth trying! I'm assuming only certain massage therapists do it? I'd like to look into it.

I never heard of the massage, but I have heard of acupuncture that helps with fertility. A friend of my sister's actually has his own practice and is very successful with helping couples conceive this way. It is definitely an option I plan on looking into if later on down the road there is still no baby. Let us know how the massage goes!

Here is my story.. We have been ttc 9 months and last month i decided to use preseed for the first time, we used it like regular lube and even inserted it during my fertile time.. It was a BUST.. Im on cd 2!!

i heard so much good things about it and i didnt get preggo the first time ...

i have a 41 day cycle so i dont O untill cd 28 it takes me a while to get around my O time !!

hi annie i certainly feel you on the whole long cycle thing i too have long cycles 42 days and the wait til o is so annoying it makes me so frustrated that we have to wait almost a month to o i feel like that is time lost are you trying anything else besides pre seed? am doing opk and cbfm but am only using the pre seed from when i get the high on the cbfm until after get a negative opk and i have ovulated i have a few days to go as u can see from my ziggy gl to you

me too !! at first i was having such a hard time getting up to do it but now it is not so bad i guess that it is just the wait now hope that the time flys by so that we can o already and get on that 2ww which at times i think is not as bad as the wait to o lol but i guess that is normal when you have to wait so long to o can you believe that in my whole life i think that this is the 3rd time that am actually o pray that God blesses us with a little bundle soon

Welcome! Sorry about your BFN's! Preseed isn't guaranteed to work. It just helps to give a friendly environment for sperm to thrive in, as regular CM can actually be harmful to sperm. If there are other issues with fertility, such as ovulation or sperm morphology or count, Preseed will not help with that. Have you considered consulting a fertility specialist if you are still unsuccessful?

Hold on. Doesn't that mean you're 21dpo now or something? You gotta get to the doc for a blood test...
