I have some lids for my corning ware/pyrex dishes that are plastic - you know like the storage lids
anyway they are white and have absorbed some color from some food i cooked with sauce
how do I get it out?
I have scrubbed but its still there looking faint orange??

Soak them in warm water with a bit of lemon juice. Or rub a cut lemon over them. Bleaches stains out brilliantly.

I know, it's so annoying! I've read a few things can help get the stains out, although I've not tried them yet! Soaking them in 1 part bleach to 2 parts water, pouring some vinegar onto the stain, making a paste with bicarbonate of soda and water and rubbing that on, or leaving the stained plastic out in the sun for a few hours. I'll have to try these things too, shall do a test to see which works! X
