Question About Birth and Hospital!!!

I was just wonderin what happens once you have the baby at the hospital. like how long till you get to go home and how much time u get to spend with the baby once its born b4 they take it away to clean an all that!

Just wanna no what happens from when u have the baby till u get to go home!??

I had her at 9.10pm, wiped her over and handed her to me. Was up on the ward at 11pm, bathed her the next day, went home after 2 days because she was puking up mucus but that is unusual.

I keep having nightmares that my baby is swapped in the hospital! (I worry about everything) do they ever take it out of sight? Will I sound completely mad if I say to them I dont want my baby out of my (or OHs) sight at any point?
