Okay so this probably a very stupid question lol but I just want to make sure I'm understanding this right. (I posted a question early about whether I could possibly be pregnant and I was looking up early symptoms - that's what made me think of it.)

So they count your pregnancy from the first day of your last period correct? So let's say you ovulate on day 14, you would be "2 weeks" pregnant at ovulation if it's successful, correct? So technically weeks 1 and 2 of pregnancy you weren't even pregnant yet?

I was reading this person saying they started getting morning sickness at 2-3 weeks. If that's the case they would literally be having morning sickness 2-7 days after conception. Is that even possible?? That poor women

And then lets say you have a 28 day cycle and your AF was supposed to come on the 28th day but you are indeed pregnant, at that point you would be 4 weeks pregnant correct?

Hopefully you can share your knowledge with me so I don't feel so stupid! Thanks :)

Yeah they count the weeks from the start of your cycle so technically they consider pregnant before youve even conceived haha iv never heard anyone having morning sickness at 1-2 weeks though

Yes they count the first day of your last period.

Very unlikely someone would have morning sickness at 2-3 weeks pregnant unless they meant 2-3 weeks past ovulation. Which...that is how some people calculate their pregnancy.

I didn't get morning sickness until 6 weeks (from LMP) with my son...
