Question from someone in 1st Tri

Hey, Ladies! I'm jumping over here for a quick question...
When exactly does the 2nd tri start? I've heard from some people it's at 13 weeks and from others that it's 14 weeks.
I'm just wonderin cause in 2 days I'll be 13 weeks.

its confusing on here, according to doctors and everything else 12 weeks is the end of first tri, but on here it says to move over at 14. i moved over before 13. think i was 13. so hello!

It is very confusing isnt it!!! and so many websites, docs, mw's, pregnant women say different things!!!! well I do it this way: pregnancy is 40 weeks long so divide that by 3 and you get 13 weeks 2 and a half days in each trimester, so i just go with 13 weeks in each, takes you to 39 weeks but the last week is a minefield anyway!!!!
this website seems to follow that too!!
