question?

Going on holiday in April (Jayden will be about 9-10months) and was wondering if when i buy a travel cot do they need a mattress in them too? they look kind of uncomfortable to be honest with you xxx

callum sleeps really well in his travel cot, better than in his cot, and i just use the matress that came with it.

Tom wouldnt sleep in a normal cot so hes been in a travel cot since he was 3 months old. He sleeps fine..we put a duvet folded in the bottom of it

Colton has one kinda like this.. except without the mobile

He slept in the raised area for awhile before starting to cosleep. And I used the changing table forever. But as far as the bottom, it's at my mothers now and he sleeps in it everytime he goes over there. No problems, and sleeps just as sound as in his crib (or so I'm told )

I bought one for jacob and he sleeps in the basinette bit of it every night. We have the moses basket in the living room but he is so long he will out grow that within the next few weeks, So from word go i knew he's be to small for the big cot so bought the travel cot. And he loves it!! It has a vibrater on it too and music player and a light for when he wakes in the night. He loves the vibrater and the music too We just use the matteress that came with it HV said it was fine and its pretty comfy

LET HIM BUY IT!!! And pay him back in little bits Its so so so worth it. I lay him in it play the music and put the vibrater on and it keeps him quiet while mummy gets dressed etc Also can be used as a play pen when he's older And has a changer etc on it so that helps when going away XXX
