I'm sorry eab. Are you going to have any testing done on yourself?
yes, I have talked to a reproductive immunologist and sent blood sample. I have a follow up consultation in 10 days to see if anything came up. Fiancee and I have already got blood drawn to have our kariotype checked. That will take some time. 4-6 weeks. BTW it was me, I think, that you were going to ask about. I live in Oklahoma.
Other than that, I am feeling extremely down. HCG still at 9000, although they have gone down from 120000 two weeks ago. So I guess that is fine.
What if nothing comes up with the testing? Should I really go thrugh another IVF?
What was your diagnosis?
BTW very best wishes for your IUI!!!! oh, and enjoy the cruise![]()
I totally agree that it's your line to draw. I've said in here previously that a doctor said to me about my emotional wellbeing but what they don't understand is stopping, never having a rainbow, will be more emotional damaging to me.
I'm on folate (5mg), iron, vit d, aspirin (150mg), anti malaria tablets, clexane (160ml), and I was on prednisone (steroids). The anti malaria tablets are new, the Clexane is a much higher dose (was on 40).
Mowat - I have never been offered steroids, other than during preterm labour.
Tasha - you are such a strong lady! 16 miscarriages. What did you do differently this time? I agree that she is out of idea's. She also kept stating that she was afraid for my physical and emotional well being, but I think I should be the one that draws that line.
Florida - I also take the same supplements, just not the steroids. Is it something you take all the time?
eabwheb- good luck with your ultrasound
dairy - I think I will start looking. I just want a high risk specialist that will allow me as many ultrasounds as makes me comfortable. Congrats on your rainbow!
afm... I think I'm just going to keep on with ntnp, whatever happens happens!
Floridam, thanks so much for your very kind words. Your reply brought tears to my eyes. I am amazed how people you do not even know personally can care so much and help you so much! THANK YOU!!!
I hope your IUI went well and that this is your month. I am glad to hear that you are on a protocol. Hopefully this is going to make a difference.
Sweet, I second what other ladies said. I think you should really look for a different doctor. It is a tough journey, but you sound determined!
As for me, my mc seems to be over. I am barely spotting now. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next thu to make sure uterus is clean. I can't wait for my hcg to be back to zero so that I can have the remaining testing done.
Hello to everybody!![]()
Tasha, I think I missed that you had 16 mc. Indeed you really are a strong lady!! Is your protocol due to any specific diagnose? Best wishes to you![]()
