Ok in need of some advice here, I explained some time ago now, not long after baby was born about throwing up milk. I mentioned it to HV and was told he was putting on weight so it was ok, and would probably 'grow' out of it. He is now 14 weeks old and is still throwin up, its not after every feed though, some times is projectile sometimes its a little bit. Its every time we wind him, tried everything winding him more often, sitting him up when we feed him, using dr brown bottles.
We thought it would eventually stop as his digestive system matures. But it hasn't, like this morning its been projectile again, and it can't be nice for him, its just fresh milk. He wears a bib 24/7 as even ages after he's fed he will throw up usually thick cottage cheese type stuff! Then this morning when he woke up he pretty much opened his eyes and threw up projectile fresh milk which he had drunk 4 hours previously. As its not improving do you think this is reflux? and is there anything the doctor can actually do? for those of you who's LO's have suffered with this did anything work for you that the dr gave you etc?
We weighed him 2 weeks ago and he hadn't put on as much as he should have but only by a very small amount, so he can't be affecting him that much but for my sanity and LO's I think it would be nicer all round if he didn't throw up constantly, poor lil one. The amount of times we've visited family and they've been covered in it lol.
Please help!
