repairing a nappy wrap

Got a new DnF nappy wrap the other day but after a couple of washes the patterned part is starting to came away from the pul
What thread should I use to repair it?

polyester- natural fibers like cotton will wick

Is it at the edge where it is covered over by the elastic? If so, I would still use poly thread but don't sew through the PUL, just sew it to the elastic so you're not making any holes in the waterproof part.

Yep just where it was sewed into the elastic, the thread has come loose and now there is a hole. Thanks for the help ladies will get some thread tom.
