Right breast squirts everywhere!

So whenever I feed from my right breast and it lets down it squirts absolutely everywhere and sometimes makes LO cough and splutter - is there anything I can do to help this? My left breast isn't half as bad! I find when I need to pump I do it from my right breast as I get a lot more milk and because of the quick flow LO much prefers my left breast! X

It sounds like overactive letdown. When you feel your letdown on that side let it spray into a cloth until it slows down, or pump a few minutes to slow it down for your LO to eat.

I had multiple very strong let downs, be thick streams spraying out so fast he couldn't latch. Constantly choking on it so like PP said, I had to hand express a little off or catch the spray in a cloth. Pressing on my nipple seems to slow it faster for me.

Squirt into cloth, bottle, bowl, what have you

Or push nipple into your breast. I have found that block feeding and certain positions help with OALD. Block feeding is feeding one breast per feeding, and the natural breastfeeding position can help as the flow works against gravity and baby's suction has more control. GL X
