Oh my goodness I can't think of anything worse than DTD at the moment! I'm still so so sore down 'there'... in fact that's a point... sorry if tmi but how long was everyone else in pain afterwards.... the stinging when I wee wore off after the first day, but then day 3ish it came back with a vengeance and is much worse even than the first wee after giving birth... it's so painful! I had 2 grazes and a small tear so the MW said it'll be because of that, but surely it would have hurt at the start?! the 'pouring water' over lady bits while weeing doesn't work!!

Still in some pain BFing too... I'm almost alternating good feeds and bad feeds, one will be almost pain free and will have me thinking I could carry on forever, feeling all positive, and the next will be so painful I'll wonder if I can carry on :( Still having evenings of constant boob action... makes nipples so raw! OOoohh by the way, I have a question: if I continue to feed her constantly through the evening, as she demands, will she not get into a routine which makes her think that evenings are for constant feeding? Am I setting myself up for a fall? Should I try to put off feeding her even if she's screaming, or do I just go with it?

On a plus note, yesterday the MW said that as she is feeding so much of an evening, not to bother waking her in the night for a feed... if she doesn't wake up, leave her to sleep... so we tried it last night and she went from 12am till 5am, and then from 5.40am till 10am! That helped recharge batteries!

Hope everyone is enjoying motherhood... think I'm still very hormonal, I'm going from loving it all to having moments where I wonder how I'll cope when Wayne goes away!

Louise, I am still the tiniest bit sore down there now! I think by 10 or 11 days after Sam was born, things started to feel a bit better. The weeing thing went after about a week I think. I have only just about begun to feel comfortable pooing in the last week! It felt as though I was going to give birth again! Things do feel much better this last couple of days though. Almost normal, I would say, just a wee bit tender.

Feeding's like that, good days and bad days. Lilia sounds like all 3 of my babies, they all cluster feed in the evenings. I think bottle fed babies do it too? Apparently, they sense what time of day it is, and your milk supply is at it's lowest, so it's a combination of them wanting more milk and feeling unsettled as it's nighttime. Sam does what Lilia does. He will have his bath in about ten mins, and then he'll be unsettled until 9.30 or 10pm. He will be feeding, I will try to put him down as I think he's asleep, and he'll bawl his eyes out again as if I'm starving! We do the merry dance until he stays down! And then the good thing is that chances are, he will stay down and then feed twice in the night, sleeping really well inbetween. So it all works out okay usually. I would say, if she seems to be screaming for a feed, let her have one, but others might say different.

Right, I'm off to bath the boys!! Be back later!! xx

i'm also BF, its my first night at home so at least i will be more comfortable  they had a shortage of pillows at the hospital so i went without one for half of my stay.

think little man is hungry again, so i'm off xxx xxx xxx

Ollie is gorgeous!! Well done Daisybell! xx

Apaton, yeah that achy bruised feeling is nasty. Up until about a week ago it felt like my bladder and womb were both hanging between my knees when I walked! But it feels much much better now. Sam's cord fell off after about 5 days and it was gooey underneath. I just cleaned it off with cotton wool and cooled boiled water, lots of different bits of cotton wool so to not spread any bacteria around. Then just left it to air dry, so it went crusty. After another few days it looked fine, now it just looks like a normal belly button!

sorry im not keeping up with this thread , i just dont know where the time goes!

We did our first bath time tonight and it was a success! they both have soft fluffy hair now.

We are coping really well my husband is just amazing and im dreading him going back to work, he is a wondefull dad!

we went to a wedding yesterday and managed to be out until midnight , friends helped with the girls and they were very well behaved, it was nice to chill out.

Im finding it takes me ages to get anywhere though not because of the girls but because we are constantly being stopped by people wanting to look at the babies, i think my buggy makes us stick out a bit.

I hope all the new mummies are doing well xx

Hi girlies

Just a quick one to say :hi: No time to catch up properly so will pop on soon for a good old catch up. My mum is here at the moment and last night she babysat while me and matt went out for dinner... cue me staring at my phone all night and rushing to get home!! I missed her sooo much! It was really nice for me and matt to spend a bit of quality time together though and we had a right laugh. Won't be going out again for a while though lol

Here are some piccies of Holly playing on her playmat today! She's such a gorgeous little girl and is growing up so fast, I can't believe she is 4 weeks old already. She changes so much every day! My mum has bought her about a million cute outfits today and we've just got a bunch of 0-3 month clothes as, after not fitting into newborn clothes until last week, she is almost too big for them already!

:hugs: for all of you, hope you're all taking care of yourselves xx

Can i ask all Mum's wanting me to update their details on the 1st page to post the following details; Baby name, due date, arrival date, time of birth & weight. This will make it much easier as i'm struggling to find everyones date at the moment, cheers ladies xxx

Hey Ladies!!

Beautiful Pictures!!! I love coming on and seeing all these new little babies!!!!:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I too was dying to DTD again, however I am a big chicken. So DH and I have resorted to doing some PG13 stuff if you know what I mean. lol! I had some stiches inside my vagina so I want to be sure they were dissolved before. I was sore down there for a week-ish. Now I am still sore at the bottom of my belly? For some reason after delivery I got some really bad muscle pains in my lower tummy? That still hurts along with some pelvic pain?

BF isn't too bad. My MW and the lactation consultant said that Peyton was latching on the best she could and our techniques were amazing...but a possible tongue-tie is preventing her from forming a better latch. So I am going to try and get in to see my Family Dr. and get a referal to see a specialist to get it fixed. But I too get the initial pain when she latches and starts sucking but then it goes away.

I can't believe P is three weeks old already!! where is the time going?

xo

Bloody hell Louise if Rosalie slept that long in the night i would be over the moon  she feeds like every 20 mins and maybe will go 1hr in the night  I swear she's not getting enough at each feed though i KNOW i have more than enough milk :dohh:

I havent had any pain peeing this time :wohoo: I'm so happy as last time i couldnt pee for weeks  Louise if you try peeing in the shower with the head on your bits and alternate between hot and cold :hugs:

Think Rosalie's cord is about to fall off already  Think it will have by morning... cannot deal with her sleeping habbits though its just not fun :( we had first bath and she looooooved it :cloud9:

These babies are gorgeous... Congrats to new mummies!

I feel surprisingly 'ok' down below, and didn't get any stinging or anything. I felt for a while like my womb was gonna fall out, but because i've only had a little graze and no stitches, i'm pretty much fine now.

I must say, yesterday, for the first time in about 9 months, I actually felt like dtd. It was strange to feel like it again! And, tbh, I daren't tell my OH - it's been that long that i'm not sure i'd still know what to do! Plus, I dunno if I'd be able to 'do it' with Izzy in the same room (but I wouldn't be able to leave her in another room without fussing, even if I had monitors on and she was asleep). So I don't really know what to do on that front! Didn't wanna get his hopes up.. I can't believe i'm nervous about getting intimate with my own fiance

Things have gone tits up with me again... Izzy now has cold, OH has cold, and DD has cold and head lice. I'm doing ok, but my mum is in hospital again, this time with kidney pain. It's my auntie's funeral tomorrow too. I'm off to midwife drop-in soon to ask about what to do with her having cold.. she's a bit hot, is sleeping too much and is all snotty with sneezes all the time.

How much are babies meant to sleep? I know that she's got cold, but even before she got poorley she was pretty much eating and sleeping, and only waking up for 10 mins at a time.

Emzy - A night out for me seems a lifetime away! Hopefully she'll be able to have expressed milk by November so I can go out for my birthday. I can remember not being able to rest the first time I left emma though - it's strange cos you spend 9 months wanting a night out, and then you get one and want to be back with your baby!

Xx

Congrats to all the new mummies :flower:

Asher thanks for the update! I am soo scared but i am definitley willing to give it a try, i think i am going to give it til wednesday and then OH is for it haha!

Louise I was still in terrible pain up when peeing up until about 2 days ago, its still a bit uncomfortable now, but my lord it hurts! Nobody told me about that before i had a baby!!

Apaton (i think it was you who asked?!) Charlie-Jacks cord stump was all gooey and gross when it fell off now it is fine just a bit scabby but the midwife said that will soon fall off!

:hugs: optical x hope izzy and your mum are better soon. I was wondering the same about the sleeping thing, all charlie seems to do is sleep he is never awake!!
