septembryos baby area (09 babies)

LMAO star-dust!! that is magnificent!! I love it!!!

lovin the post star-dust!!
was back at the doc today, the keytones in my urine have gone :)
he did more acupunture on me (starting to feel like a pin cushion!!) and sent me on my way. have to go back for another go tomorrow and hopefully that'll be it for now!

Fab news teeny-j.... are you feeling better at all?
I had to have accupunture around 7 weeks for extreme nausea, and was also presribed stemitol, both of which helped soooo much!!

the acupuncture seems to have helped a bit. i have felt ill today but i havent brought anything up which is good. i have managed to have 3 slices of toast, a bowl of carrot and corriander soup and a mini chicago town 4 cheese pizza. its the most i have eaten in one day for a while. i took one of the buccastem pills at noon. i'm going to try to avoid using them if i can.

Hello girlies.... just thought i'd let you all know that the second trimester lot are all really nice and its so interesting reading the type of things that well go through after week 14!!!

Personally i cant wait to feel the babe move!!!

Aww fab news Diz, im so glad u like it over there, Im soooo nervous bout movin over!!

I haven't responded to this thread yet, but seeing as how I post here somewhat I should say that I'm due on the 8th of September!

Hi all,

I had so much to catch up on, I have forgotten everything so bare with me  (pregnancy brain ;))

I am looking forward to seeing the scan pics......that is always great to see and hear about :happydance:

Teeny-J, I am glad your keytones have sorted themselves out. I was admitted in my last pregnancy and it is no fun at all what you are going thru.

Welcome Zoe!

Babytots - are you taking anything for your heartburn? I swear by the gaviscon liquid, not very nice but you do get used to it.

10thSept - My OH wanted our due date to be 09/09/09  mind you, it is a cool date! Don't listen to that stupid woman at work, I have NEVER heard anyone say about a 4 month mark for telling people, it IS the 3 months mark when the chances of MC are greatly reduced!! So please ignore her! Stupid woman! Glad the scan went well! :happydance: As for the doppler, alot of MW's won't even try to find a heartbeat with a doppler until 16wks, so don't panic.

Rees - Good Luck with your scan hun.

Star-Dust - your ode to the 1st Tri, is great

Marg_27 - We will all be over in the 2nd Tri hun, so you will be in familiar company.

Pregasaurus - Welcome and congratualtions hun! :happydance:

Haaza123 - I hope the scan went well hun.

Well, I have been feeling great for this past week now!! The only thing I am a bit concerned about is the fact that I have signs of SPD - they are exactly the same as they were in my last pregnancy, but on a good note, I was in no pain at all yesterday and so far today I am OK too, so I am hoping it stays that way *fingers crossed*.

I am a bit late, but I am graduating to the 2nd Tri :headspin: so I look forward to seeing you all over there really soon!

Keep well and look after yourselves! (I will be checking in still to keep an eye on how you are all doing):hug:x

Tam...I hope the SPD holds out for as long as poss, or even better, doesnt come back at all! Glad ur feelin better these past couple of days, and weeks even :happydance:
Congrats on graduating, I'll b movin over tomorrow, so glad therell b some familiar faces over there :)

Well, hope your all feeling well this mornin :)
Can u believe we've been forecast snow in Notts again!!! What is that all about?? wheres the sunshine? Whats happened to spring? Surely it shud only b around the corner!! Thats my groan for the day...

Morning ladies

I have just been catching up on all of yesterday's posts - you've all been very busy.

Teeny-j - I really hope you feel better. x

Babytots - I hope the nausea and heartburn is easing off. I couldn't sleep last night because of heartburn so spent an hour reading the NHS book I got from the MW - I skiped over the all too graphic pictures of the birth!!

I know a few of us have got our scans tomorrow (including me). Feeling nervous and excited and just want tomorrow to be here. I am excited at the thought of telling people over the weekend (just like you did 10thSeptember). Good luck to all the ladies with scans coming up.

Marg - I bet you are excited about moving over to 2nd Tri and its good to hear Diz saying they are a nice bunch.

Mae76, how exciting is it that our scans are tomorrow??????? I'm going to be thinking about nothing else between now and then :)

The honours shall be all yours to do us our Sept-embyo thread in our second home, when you join us on the dark side tomorrow! :happydance: Oh and they are very nice over there, so stop worrying :hugs:

I love the snow, I am dreading the warmer weather

Good luck everyone for tomorrows scans!! x

SORRY - RANT!!!

last night i discovered how much attention my OH actually pays to me!!!!
i had on a pair of normal jeans as all my maternity ones are in the wash. so my jeans were no where near meeting in the middle to be done up. and i must have been rubbing my belly, cause he asked me to show him my belly properly, i did and he was so shocked at how big it is!!! we live together, we sleep together every night, we cuddle all the time, and even tho he hasnt noticed!!!!! i used to have a stomach to be proud of. infact i used to have a six pack cause i rode 10 horses everyday and could fit in to size 10 jeans with lots of room to spare. now there is no chance. the ones yesterday were size 14. MEN!!!!!!!!!!!

Teeny-j, maybe it's a good thing and he wouldn't mind if you put on lots of weight cos he loves you and thinks you're beautiful just the way you are???

Or it could just be that men are SOOOOOOOOOO unobservant!!!!

hmmm men N bumps!!!

8 months pregnant, yelling from bathroom,Hun can you grab me a towel please.

Him walking in, seeing you butt naked, a look of shock on his face as he sees your bump....Were the fook that come from you hear coming from his direction....

its my bump hun, you know the baby,

Well I never, when did that happen, cant say I had noticed that before......!!

Somehow mine's the opposite so far - he noticed my tiny bump before I did! Which is really weird, seeing as he's normally the most unobservant man in the world.... maybe pregnancy's changing him??!?!
