righto ladies!
had my scan, all is well
but seeings as star-dust gained a new due date buddy my baby said - don't be so bloody greedy, and has decided that it's now 11 + 5!
and so i'm no longer due on the 28th, but now due on the 24th - the day before my birthday and on my OH's birthday - he is quite chuffed!

i had the internal scan to see why i was getting so many pains in my abdomen, went docs in september, came off pill as thought it would help, which it did, we also wanted to try for a baby. doc thought it could be chlamydia, i knew it wasn't and results came back negative, she told me that she'd book me in for an internal scan to see what was happening, but that it might be IBS but a scan to rule anything else out would be good
so i waited and waited and waited, it was now the beginning of january, i had a few pains back again so went back to see her, she finally booked me in, and i also told her that we were trying for a baby
scan date arrived the following week, but my period was late again, tested the day after (sun 18th jan!) and found out that i was actually expecting
another doc told me to go to the scan, so i went on 10th Feb and got a bollocking from the sonographer, even though my doc said to still go in case there's anything underlying there, there wasn't though but got to see our little sproglet at 7 + 1
this changed the date from 20th Sept to 28th Sept
and then today i had the nuchal scan, baby so much bigger and a lot clearer than the blob that sproglet was, and all in a month
and baby was dated at 11 + 5
the fold of skin but was measured at either 0.9 or 1.4 mm she took 2 readings
and then she explained what everything was, at first she couldn't get sproglet to move, when she prodded he got very angry with her and moved a lot, when he'd settled down again he had his feet crossed at his ankles
and had his chin resting on his chin all the time
but i didn't get excited until i was on the chair thing and he magically appeared on the screen
Im not lettin her go!
