i have a pair of maternity jeans from my 2nd dd the rest got thrown away since we werent planning on having anymore and i have been living in them for the past few days (well apart from when they are being washed or when i'm in my p.j's) they are so comfy arent they.

i'm going to do some maternity shopping next month ready for when we go to brighton in june to visit dfs family and to go his cousins wedding. have found a lush top to wear for said wedding and just need some formal black maternity trousers to go with it.

dont want to buy too much though as its definately our last baby. a friend of mine has just had her baby and was going to stick them all on ebay as most of them she hardly wore but told her to keep hold of them and will buy them off her. shes just had her baby so cant wait to see them both and get some cuddles from her new baby daughter :d x

rachydaz - Congratulations on reaching 12 weeks and thanks for the welcome and reading my blog. I find it amazing that we now count time in weeks and days lol!

babytots - I can't wait for the 20-week scan so I can also see what gender the baby is. I'm so curious and I want to know asap so I can get some baby clothes. It was so frustrating going through some of the shops here as the baby clothes were either pink or blue. I was wondering where all yellow, white or other neutral colors were. Hope your m/w appointment goes well.

firegal - I definitely need to get some maternity pants. I asked my mom to send me some maternity clothes from Asia since there's more variety there. So far, I haven't been content with the ones I've seen here. I heard that Zara have some cool maternity clothes though, but not available here. I might have to check that out when I go to Spain lol!

Mmm, I've been reading a lot about ladies getting m/w appointments in this forum. But I'm a bit confused how that differs from seeing the doc. I feel a bit lost as I've never had a m/w appointment. Everything was with my OB/GYN (in a hospital, not clinic) who tells me everything, does my ultrasound, and discusses the results with me. The only thing he doesn't do is remove blood from me ... I have to do this at the lab of the hospital. Should I be also asking for a m/w appointment?

La Vanguardia, it might be that you don't need to see a midwife. It sounds like you get everything sorted with your Ob/Gyn. I notice you're in Switzerland? All countries work slightly differently. Here in the UK we see midwives, but that's not the case everywhere. Do you know anyone else who's had a baby recently where you live? If so I'd have a quick chat to them and find out who they saw, just to be sure.

^ Thanks for clarifying that. I just got a bit confused as I didn't want to miss out on anything lol. It could be different customs in different countries. I already have my next meetings booked with the doc ... one in April and another in May.

I'll ask then one of my friends here who have kids.

And lastly... OMG I sooo agree, maternity wear is THE BEST bar none!! Ive been in my mat. je4ans for bout 3 weeks now, and they are amazing!! So comfy I think I could sleep in them!!

Well, not much to report today other than have been havin spme horrible pains for the last couple of days But, nothing to worry about... Its my scartissure stretching from havin my tube removal.... But its still hurts
AND... I think I may have a bit of a water infection as it seems to hurt my lower tum after Ive had a wee.... hmmm... prob best get that checked out....
