septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Thanks everyone for that! I'll try some dilute witchhazel  I am drinking litres of water as Pearl is BFing and is a real guzzler.

I managed a walk to town with OH and LO this morning and we all went out with the 3 dogs for a small walk this afternoon well. I have a steak for dinner - can't wait to have it RARE :happydance: and with stilton - yum!!!! Plus it is Strictly and X Factor tonight :happydance:

oooooh, i hope that this thread does get merged amy!

and congrats lhamil!! he certainly took his time!

i was breast feeding up until day 10, but no longer, she was worse than a fart in a collinder for latching on from tues to weds so weds night took the plunge to give her bottle, and i'm so much happier now that my nipples aren't so sore!

although being woken up at half 5 yesterday shivering wasn't much fun, apparently it's not masstitis, but it's just what happens when you stop breastfeeding - so that's why my right boob is sore and my left one feels normal?? hmmmm! thanks for coming out midwives!

and also now she can be fed by her daddy, yay! lol

i do have 2 large walk in cupboards downstairs so i can chuck stuff in them if any1 coming round!!!

but my friends take the place as find it. they have been told in past they take it as is or sort it!!! (due to my back problem). and on the rare occassion they have been known to pick up the hoover or wash up etc. BUT on a similar note its the same at theirs. true friends come to see YOU not how tidy your house is.

Mornin all
Majorly quick catch up as we're getting ready to go ice skating (2nd time this week) I will shift those pounds!!!
Weve started goin as a special thing for jus Mummy Daddy and Abbie... tis nice :D

So....see u all soonies, have a lovely day xxx

I had the same delivery and couldn't sit or walk properly for 2 weeks. My OH ran me lavender oil baths and used to make me lie spread eagle on the bed after. That really helped.

hi all,

hope everyone ok.

marg - bet the ice skating costing loads isnt it? our local rink is over £5 per adult per session!!!

Hi girls,

My house is also a tip! But...I made a baby carrier from a pattern that I found online so I'm hoping that it will free up some time and hands as my OH is back at work tomorrow.
I can't wait to start exercising and having :sex: blimely do I miss it!

Going to leave Mia with my OH so I can have a bath and pamper myself today sooooo looking forward to it!:happydance:
I hope that you all had a good weekend.

oh btw, I think that Mia gets gripey pains sometimes and i was recommended infocol but i tried it yesterday as it she hates and and screams blue murder, is there anything else anyone would reccomend? I've tried winding her - maybe gripe water will help, she'll be a month old next week.

also I thought that I would share a word of warning!!! TMI

I was never told that bf would make me constipated (my mw confirmed this) I also had really bad piles from the pushing (and stitches) so I was really afraid to poo and was really consitpated!
My MW said that prune juice would work but not to drink too much as it would go through to the baby and its really powerful.
I drank 2 glasses the other day :dohh: and YES it is really powerful and works within an hour or so and DOES go through to the baby! :)

But if you are constipated it really does work - just 1 small glass should be enough though!

10 days is still a really ace start though hun!

I have midwives coming to weigh the babs today...wonder whether she will have lost or gained?!

blake had gripe water at 3weeks and he was fine. but he is also ok with infacol.

Hi girls,

so sorry for not posting earlier - have been having internet connection issues so haven't been able to get online for ages.

I was due on the 19th sept - and at 5:30 in the evening my waters broke. had to be induced on the sunday evening but baby just didn't want to come.

Bethan Hannah Maria was finally born by forceps (cos she had to be delivered quickly and my contractions had stopped - one of a long line of annoying complications because she was nearly out all on her own) at 1:30pm on tuesday 22nd sept weighing a stonking 9lb 4oz.

she is beautiful and we are besotted even if she is a piggy milk monster and feeds like a a mad thing.

Hey girls :flower:

Amy, ice skating for the 3 of us costs £18 on a Sun and £13.50 on a Thurs evening. tis quite expensive, but its a good form of exercise for us all and its good quality time together

Silas, hope u had a fab time pampering yourself, and glad u sorted out ur constipation :D but can I ask what your using/have used for you piles? I have this issue too and am a lil embarrassed bout it :(

Jack goes for his 1st set of injections 2moro  soo dont want to put him thru it :(

hey lovelys!! how are we all?

oooo ice skating ive not been in agggggges!..i used to get lessons when i was little aswell...much fun!

well mason is waking every 2hours for food, last night and today, really unsettled he is...must be growing or something?!!!!...so im sleepy today and feeling fluy again :grr: must be this weather! lol

i love ice skating but at £8.70 (inc skate hire) per person - its about £35 for the 4 of us, so we cant go very often.

Yh that is quite pricey, but 1 bonus is that we all have our own skates so therefore dont have to pay for skatehire

Teehee I sympathise - my big gal is a milk monster too - she had got herself up to 9lb11.5oz as of today :D
Congrats hun xx

just out of interest how much are you lot feeding and how often?..i'm a lil' lost with what he's 'suppose' to be eating...

Hi Ladies,

Good news my son arrived on wednesday at 6pm. Waters broke at 3:10pm dashed to hospital got checked over and was told I was 5cm gone, but worse was to come.. My son was in breech position and I needed an emergency c- section there and then.. I was in bits as this was not the birthing experience I dreamt of for all these past 9 months..

However seeing my son for the first time was just the icing on the cake.. Unfortunately though my health isn't so good at the moment, am in constant agony and the meds i've been given don't seem to work that much.. OH has been a blessing looking after him as well as me don't know what I would do without him..

Hi everyone!!

Rachy, Chayce had a week when he went from 3hrs to 2hr feeds and we put it down to growth spurts.

Marg, it must be horrible to see him in pain with the jabsd, good luck.

Silas, enjoy that bath and pampering, still havent had a chance to have a soak in a bath!

As for Chayce, he has bath at 7-730pm, then boob at 8pm then sleeps to 11pm. Wakes at 2am- 3am on a good night then up again 6am then boob then up at 9am.A friend has an 8wk old thats bf and she sleeps from11pm to 6am or 8am!!!I want that many hrs sleep!!!!

Oh well, could be worse, Ishouldnt complain he is a good bubs.

H hope everyones well.
