septembryos baby area (09 babies)

hey everyone...i swear i can hear the wind whistleing its sooo quiet in here!!! lol

hello

we went to view the houses at weekend, really excited....... the 1st (and cheapest house) left loads to be desired!!! the kitchen consisted of a sink held up by 2 bits of wood, and a "welsh dresser". no cupboards or anything. the lounge and dinner (or 2nd lounge) were lovely, laminate throughout, archway in middle. hallway had damp and holes in walls, the stair banister was none existant in places. bedrooms were damp and had holes in walls, doors hanging off etc. bathroom had pink walls and a peach bathroom suite (that looked like hadnt been cleaned in yrs!) the gardenhad 6ft high weeds, plastic sheeting and big rocks. we reckon would cost about £15K to fix up. NOT an option with 3 young kids.

house 2 - was lovely, empty and would only need few bits doing - cupboard in kitchen removed for dishwasher, garden fence moved so back door in back garden etc. laminate throughout, estate agent said have already declined offers under asking price.

house 3 - want a quick sale as MIL is really ill and need move near her. house is about £7K over what we could afford but they may go down. needs decorating! but nothing major.

lovely area, i really want to go. OH and kids liked it as well. we were on the beach until gone 7pm and then stood at the harbour watching the ships come in and unload the fish.

TODAY - we got bad news! we can only get £40K on a mortgage due to the bloody debt management plan we went into instead of getting ccj's last year. this means we have got to find at least £25K as a deposit!!! we will have £12-15K from sale of this place but still leaves us with £10-13K shortfall. i am sooooooo annoyed. especailly as we had been told on friday that the mortgage advisor had at least 5 companies that would accept the deposit we had and then make up the mortgage. so unless i can find the money we cant buy. and renting is an issue due to haveing kids and/or pets.

GGgggrrrrrrrrrrr! i dont want to be here, i want to move!

HELLO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are u all?
Vicks- enjoy your last week hun before work x
Amy- moving is such a pain, it all costs so much money! i do hope it works out for u!
Leelee- hows u and Chloe?
Hey Silas- hows u and Mia?

Something so scary happened last night, dave put Izzy on her changing table, and turned away to sort out her cot, and she somehow shuffled down and fell of the end! I walked in to him shouting oh my god, and trying to get her out (she fell to the floor, and the changing mat and wood fell on top of her!), it looked so awful, she screamed as soon as he got her free, and had a bit of a red mark and scrape on her forehead but that was it! She screamed for a bit, then tried to grab everything, so we decided she was ok, we think she landed on her legs/bum and got her bump when the wood landed on her. But god all night i was waking and checking on her, i have now taken the changing mat off the top and she is getting her nappy changed on the floor- we are so lucky it wasnt more serious :(

Oh Scally, how awful, you must have been so worried hun. I'm glad she is ok, they can move seriously quickly can't they :hugs:

Glad you have internet access again!! How is everything with you & Izzy? xx

They can move so quick! no more changing table for us!

We are good, been so lonely without the internet!!! Izzy has started shaking her head now, very cute!!! She has stopped with the mama, but still saying baba to dave, mind u she did say it to jeremy kyle the other morning!!!! ooops!

Hows u and Joe? Making the most of your week?

Aw, Joe hasn't said muma yet, but everyone and everything is dada!!

We're good thanks. We've been struggling with Joe's solids recently, he's decided he doesn't like anything savoury, only fruit :dohh: So we're going back to the start really and taking it slowly. Getting him weighed today so hopefully he will have put on the right amount of weight as I'm worried he's not taking enough.

This week is flying by :( I really don't want to go back to work. I can't imagine leaving Joe and I'm so worried about missing him and only seeing him for an hour for those 3 days. No one seems to understand, everyone just says oh you'll be fine, but I carried him for 9 months and have been with him everyday for another 7 and a half. Anyway, I'll stop now before I start crying, I'm so sad aren't I

hi all,

IF i can find £700 in 2weeks i have a house to rent until we can get sorted and buy up there. sounds alot but this is security deposit and 2weeks rent as be mid monthh we go. so things do seem to be on up again. just not sure where i can find that amount of money.

i cant believe blake is 8months old today.

Vicks- you are not sad at all, the thought of leaving him must be awful, i think i would cry constantly if i had to leave Izzy- i am having to leave her for a day and night in august and i am already worried about it! U will be fine and so will he, but it will take time to get used to, big hugs xxxx
Good luck with the weigh in, let me know how u get on- cheeky monkey just going for the sweet things!!! lol, he knows the tastier things!

hey guys.
Scally-glad Izzy is ok
Vicks-hope joe has put on enough weight...let us know!!
Amylw1-happy 8 months Blake...scary, 8 months already, only 4 months till the big 1! :(

Chloe is now growing up too fast...today she rolled front to back for the second time!...and fed herself a bottle.

i dont think it will be long before she is walking on her own either :( she can already walk round the house by just holding my fingers...good thing and bad thing at the same time!

Happy 8 months to Blake!!!! (just saw that!)

And well done to Chloe! Wont be long now til u r having to run after her! x

thank you. where has the time gone? blake stands if you hold his hands but has no intrest in moving to walk, is more intrested in bending knees and bobbing up/down, especially if music on. LOL!

not that i'm moaning the longer i can keep him in 1 place the better!

I am like that Amy- i am desperate for Izzy to move about- crawl/walk etc but i know then my life will be over, no relaxing, no doing bits whilst she is sitting nicely!

What has everyone got planned for the bank holiday weekend? Cant believe the weather is going to be crap!!! boohoo! Typical!

Izzy has been copying what we are saying- my dad keeps going yay to her, and she copies him, she also says hiya, and has quite comical timings with her head shaking and words resembling no and yes!

no - i dont want him moving about!!! i'm happy with him doing his seal type crawl and thats fine.

walking = no longer a baby!

no plans really. we wanted to go to truckfest BUT it's going to cost us £40 to get in the gates let alone anything else the kids want! its a shame cos not been for 2yrs and we used to go every yr. possibly a bbq if its nice.

i am going out for my birthday meal tomorow night but thats about all!!

had chloe weighed and mesured today and she has only put on 3oz in 3 weeks lol! so shes is 20lb 11oz now and measures a massive 73cm, which is over the 99.6th centile!! shes so long lol

leelee- bless her, she is tall!!! are u and your OH tall? Izzy is on the 91st line i think for height- i am tall, but daddy is shorter, think she is going to overtake him by the time she is 5!!!! lol. I really want to get Izzy weighed, but she screams to high heaven every time so i do it when Dave has a day off so it takes the pressure off everyone staring at me! I wonder if they r open bank holiday monday???

we go into private rooms in cheltenham, so i dont have people stairing when she screams!

im 5'8 and oh is 6'5 so i think she will be tall!

hi,

you saying about heights reminds me of when i had my eldest. in the back of his red book there was a chart on how to work out the height of baby via parents height - you add this, times that, divide by whatever etc...... well i worked it out that my eldest was going to be 16ft tall!!!! LOL! i think i worked it out wrong.

blake is on the 9the line for weight and height. i have just had to get his 6-9month clothes out as his 3-6 are getting tight across his waist BUT 6-9 are huge and fall down! he's just over 8months bless him. spent the day chasing him about to pull his trousers back up from his knees as he's left them behind etc as he moves about. good job hes not walking!

has anyone thought about what they will be getting LO's for 1st birthday??? (i know long time for some of you). i have 4months until blake's 1 BUT with the possibilty of moving by then i want to know i'm sorted etc.

we are gettiing him the fisher price little people noah's ark (brand new), its sturdy and seems like a good idea, plus we have got a load more animals off ebay (used, but can clean with milton wipes). also asked the family if they will get him some of the sets.

mackenzie had the mega blocks "town" - there was a castle that came with blocks, a fire station with blocks and cars, race track etc and the family all got him bits to go with it whether blocks or cars etc. (still got the chunkyy cars for blake to play with.

Love the height of your eldest Amy! 16ft- love it!

Sounds like a good idea for his birthday, it'd be something he can keep for a while.

Leelee- right i am going to have to google that!!!!

I am not sure what to get really, does anyone know why ball pools have 2 years plus on them? i thought izzy might enjoy one. I am having a fancy dress party for her 1st but thats all i know! lol
