Hey leelee- ahhh bless poor Chloe- hopefully it'll pop out quick!!! I think its amazing they can eat their feet, how flexible! She makes really loud sucking and mmmmm noises when she does! lol

bless em, blake doesnt chew his own feet like that - where he "crawls" (his way) he goes round and chomps on our feet - it dont half hurt now he has 3 teeth and 4th on way. OH has nick-named him ankle-biter!!!

he is into everything - he discovered yesterday or day b4 that the video player has a flap that opens and he keeps trying to put toys in it!!!


baby fish - now have a total of 33 and still have a very fat female fish which i think is also pregnant!!

I am pacing here, my dad has gone into hospital today to have a small op on his back, i was supposed to go with him, but he changed his mind last minute and wanted to go by himself, now i just have to wait for him to phone to say pick him up. I wish i had gone though, then i would know what is going on, its worrying with the general anasthetic, and that they are doing things to his spine. He is so stubborn though! if i didnt have Izzy i'd be up there is a shot, but i dont know whether they will let her in

if he's not in intensive care and she has no cough/cold they should allow her in. when my dad was in hospital he was in the heart ward and we were very unsure about the kids, but my older 2 boys wanted to see their grandad and as long as they didnt run about they were allowed in.

hope he is ok.




i took blake to mums and tots today!!! it was soooo nice to get out and not worry about the mums from the school being there - (they were asked to leave months ago!!!) everyone was so nice and friendly and we have been invited to another group that meets on fridays (again at a church, but thats fine if it gets me out house). he loved it - had a whole church hall to crawl round and loads of toys to play with. LOL!

and i now have 33 baby guppies!!! and 1 female is still pregnant! pet shop wont take them - no idea what i am going to do. as i only have 1 tank and i cant keep males/females together after they are 8weeks old or they will breed!

Scally I hope he's out of surgery and everything went well!

Lennox started sitting up a couple of days ago and so I took this video last night. Sorry it's so dark with our bad lighting and it being gloomy outside that was the best I could do!

Lennox still won't eat baby food! Don't know how I'm going to get him to eat regular foods if he won't eat them.

hi,

i wouldnt worry about baby food - blake wont eat them apart from egg custard. never has - i just pureed what we have or fruit/veg etc. all mixed with baby rice. he eats everything we give him.

Gabriel's first tooth popped thru yesterday...he was miserable for week before hand.

Hey mom2pne- well done to Lennox for sitting up, so clever! i dont blame him for not liking the baby food, some of it looks and tastes disgusting, lol!

Amy- so please mum and tots went well, and none of the awful mums from the school were there! Hows Blake doing?

We went to the hospital in the end for visiting, and managed to bring him home later. Izzy was so good and entertaining people on the ward, lol! He is ok ish, has to have at least 2 weeks off work, and being a naughty patient- he got dressed and was trying to take his canula out- the nurses were not happy with him!!!

yay on 1st tooth, lets hope the rest follow quickly likes blakes did and hes not in too much pain.

blake is fine, i have just had to get his 6-9month babygroosw out as his toes were getting squashed in 3-6. he's still in 3-6 for everything else (although trousers are getting bit short and tight round waist but 6-9 fall down) - he's 2 weeks off 9months and noot in that size clothes.

he has 3 teeth now and i think 4th on way - he bit me yesterday and drew blood - it wasnt him deliberatly going round biting my thimb was a convinent teething toy he was chomping down on his gums, moved slightly and bit me!

it was nice to go out and not have the worry that they would be there or what they would say if i walked past etc. so we will be going again.

he still no/very little hair bless him, there are small tufts appearing but not much.



anyone know what i can do with most of the baby fish???? i rang the aquarium where we bought them and they cant take the babies off me as they only sell fish they have bred due to their money back guarantee policy if somethings wrong with the fish when you buy it. (cop out if you ask me). and i think other pet shops will possibly have same policy. i dont want money for them as i didnt intentially breed them, but i dont want them to be eaten by bigger fish nor flushed down loo and i cant keep them as i could end up with hundreds of babies with 2months!!!

Ahhh bless Blake just coming out of the 3-6 month clothes, at least they last a long time, Izzy is zooming through the ages, all the lovely bits we have had in smaller sizes barely got worn!
I always think its funny that they bite down hard when your hand is in their mouth but not when they have their own in there! very clever!
Izzy hasnt got much hair either, she is always mistaken for a boy, doesnt matter that she has a pink dress and tights on she still gets called a boy!
Not sure about the fish sorry, hope u get something sorted.

How is everyone and your LO's?
I am so looking forward to this weekend, it has been such a hectic week, i have been playing nurse to dad, taking my step mum to work and back as he cant, dentist, etc etc. Be nice when Dave is home to help!
We are off to a 1st birthday party today, really looking forward to it, Izzy hasnt been to a party yet! Interesting to see how she gets on with lots of other babies, with the children upstairs she always tries to nick their dummies!!! She also had the young ones foot in her mouth last time we went up there! lol

Helloooooooo!! Haven't been on here for a while, flipping work gets in the way Hope you're all ok. Joe has his first tooth, woohoo!! It's so sharp though but atleast it's finally appeared!

Joe's a really fussy eater too, he'll eat anything pureed or mashed which is fruit, the odd bit of toast and jam but nothing else I'm running out of idea's now so called the HV centre but they said they'd call me back either today or Monday. They're pants !!!!

vicks - as long as he eats something dont worry to much.

have you tried to puree some meat in with a fruit/veg he likes? blake has everything we do - from fruit/veg through to mexican or stew. go onto the weaning thread on site i'm sure some1 has had the same problem and threfore some ideas.


as long as your blender is strong enough to do it you can puree anything! my old hand blender wouldnt do anything harder than fruit/veg. the new 1 i got does meat and everything.


alternatively have you thought about giving him "pieces" of stuff and go with the option of baby led weaning/finger foods. it maybe he doesnt like the taste/texture of puree. but be warned it can get messy so cover your best rug/sofa etc!!! even if he cant chew them he will get the nutrients just from sucking - it amazing what damage gums can do to a piece of cucmber! he wont choke as babies under 1yr have to strong a gag reflex - he WILL gag and bring it back into his mouth though, but its all part of learning.

hey everyone how are we all??

my little girl is learning to crawl!! yay only on her stomach and flapping her arms but its a start. second tooth is almost through just a little tiny bit of skin covering it...although when i looked earlier it looked like it had broke the skin, but someone wont let me have a look without biting me or sticking their tounge in the way! lol

i am sooo daft, i have had the chicco happy snax highchair for nearly 8 months yet i have only just realised that the harness was on upside down! i thought it looked odd. i would see all the other highchairs and wonder why my harness was soo different and now i no!!
i think its because i lent it to my mum before Chloe was born, for her to use with my neice...she only just found the instructions lol xxx

how you describe her crawling is how blake started out - he is now "commando crawling!" he must have strength in his arms!!! he cant crawl on all 4s as we have laminate and lino and slips down when he treis. but hes happy enough.

a lady i was talking to tonight said her son crawled on ll 4s but her daughter never crawled - she shuffled on her bum and then just got up and walked 1 day. they all do things differently.

yeah we have wood flooring aswell, but when we move in about 6 weeks im making sure her bedroom and her playroom both have carpet...can't stand it! lol

Hi Girls, sorry i haven't been on for ages, i find it hard enough keeping in touch with the lovely ladies that are on FB!

Well Noah has had a stinking cold, but we are finally coming through the thick of it. We have church this morning (who's idea was it that Matt and I get married in a church..?!)

I have started to use my KIT days and went back to work last wednesday for half a day. It was like i never left!!!

blake has progressed from pulling himself to standing from the gate to anything that doesnt move and has moved along the length of my 3 seater sofa!!!! hes going to be walking b4 long. help!!!


yay to 2nd tooth, hopefully theres more close together or none for a while.

church will be worth it if you have a nice wedding day.
