septembryos baby area (09 babies)

ball pools - age 2+ as small babies can "slip under the balls and get stuck". i had 1 for my eldest - the £4.99 paddling pool from argos and we only put 50balls init, they only just covered the bottom. but he loved it. as he got bigger we got bigger pool and more balls - his 4th birthday party we had the ball pool (5ft wide by 2ft deep) and 4000 balls!!! and our own bouncy castle, kids loved it.

going to google discovery dome, not heard of it.

what a wet bank holiday weekend! we went truckfest yesterday once rain stopped, but it was still so cold. its meant to be the biggest event this yr as its the 40th anniversary BUT me and OH both said it was half the size of 2yrs ago, wasnt as many trucks or stalls and the displays in main ring were shorter (but they may have been as it was wet under foot and windy!) it was nice being out as a family though. even though mackenzie was up all night with his asthma and has got chest infection symptoms. gggrrrr!!!

......all the problems and pains i had during pregnancy and the mat unit telling me they were "UTI's"????

they dont improve!!! my mate is 15weeks pregnant, hasnt even had a scan yet (well she has she paid for 1 but hosp wont accept it!), my OH took her down to the hosp this morning as she has been doubled up in pain for nearly 3days, hurts to walk, hurts to stand and sit etc. (she hasnt bled so she's not too concerned that its probs with baby).

anyway they decided its not her appendix and its not the baby as her pain is too high (didnt do scan or hear heart beat etc). BUT they told her its a UTI!!! i laughed when she told me, a year on and they still giving the same answer for problems.

bless her she's in total agony, pain killers are not helping either.

Not sure on the present front, i have too many thought but then go and buy them for him now!! :haha:

he has a ball pool already, £2.50 paddling pool from asda and about 500 balls in it lol...he loves it dives head first in too

re birthdays i know hes having a big party at my mum n dads(there house/garden is massive) and having a big bouncy castle wooo!!....thats all ive planned so far lol

i cant plan a aprty etc for blake as we dont know if we are going to be here, or if the house will be sold etc.

but as long as we have a garden i have my own 12ftx8ft bouncy castle and a paddling pool so we will be fine!!!

woohoo just found been told that the lady whos house we veiwed last week has accepted our offer of £120,000!! yay its massive, 3 bedrooms, dining room, living room, sun room, massive kitchen, utility room and a study!! also the biggest back garden i have seen in a while!!

Its a long story...i wont go into details but OH and i are giving it another shot in a bigger house!!!

this is the discovery dome deluxe...u can buy it in most toy shops, but this is the cheepest one i found. it is £34.99, usual price is £39.99!

yay, lets hope things work out for you. i did look at that on ggogle, but my older 2 would want to play in it/with it as well so not really an option for us, but does look good.

blake has now got 3 teeth - 2more came though over night. AND he spent his 1st night in a "big bed"!!! he has worked out IF he gets on knees and holds onto sofa/gate/cot etc he can pull himself upto standing, hes not trying to walk just stand! so we decided he would be safer in a bed with guard and cot mattress on floor incase. he was fine, slpet all night - looked abit puzzled this morning as he couldnt see out. LOL!

blake's just had chicken curry and rice for tea - not pureed etc. my floor looks like an explosion in a rice plant, but he enjoyed himself, ate the curry not the rice.

he he bet he enjoyed that!! lol

if anyone wants to know where to get a ball pool which will last for ages and has more than one use i can tell u!!

its a pop up pool/ball/sand pit!! its £20 from ELC and comes with a sunvisor so good for outdoor use and can be folded when not in use :D i put 3-400 balls in it and Chloe loves it!!

Thanks Leelee and Amy- may have to get a ball pool, looks so much fun!

Amy- bless Blake and his curry! Hope the clean up wasnt too bad! lol. I cant believe the hospital are being bad with your friend, i hope she gets to the bottom of it soon!

Hows is everyone and your LO's?

I still cant believe how much they have grown- i look at what Izzy is doing or trying to do, and cant believe she is almost 8 months. When i was pregnant the 9 months went sooooo slow, but now the time is zooming by!

Hi!! I haven't been on here in a while as I started part at work this week. I'm back part-time and Friday is my day off, so just catching up while Joey has a little nap. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, just feel guilty when I get home and realise I've missed the whole day with him.

He has a cold and cough, poor little lamb, so we've had a few sleepless nights, but last night he was better. He can't suck his dummy due to his blocked up nose so we've been having problems getting him off to sleep, but last night and this morning he went off without it so maybe we can ditch that now (fingers crossed!)

Also he still is such a fussy eater :( We're just giving him what he likes at the moment and at the weekend will try and introduce new things - it's like starting weaning all over again.

How is everyone else and their LO's?

x

Hey Vicks!!!!! I am glad u got on ok, been thinking of u! Bless Joe and his cold, poor thing and poor u having to go to work on little sleep!
As for the eating, dont worry too much, take it slow, i'm sure he'll come round in the end x

hi,

clean up wasnt too bad as i said mainly rice on the floor. and he did enjoy it but his nappy was horrid this morning!!! LOL!

i cant believ the hospital are usuing the same answer a yr on. even after i complained to PALS with a 6 page letter. mind you i never got a reply from them - i know they got it as sent recorded.

as blake has worked out how to stand up holding on i went and got him a walker toy (that he can push), it also converts to a ride on, he hasnt got a clue bless him, but it was £12 off original price and he's going to need 1 in few weeks etc. got it with money from his christening.

aww bless i think Chloe is a bit tall for her walker already!! i dont think they are that good tho because she can hold on and try and walk with it but it moves too fast for her and she ends up falling!!

OMG!

i have baby fish in my tank!!! we got 5 new fish on saturday and on sunday we had babies swimming about! had to go today and buy a special floating tank for them and then had to try and catch them. i have 10 in the flaoting tank and cant see anymore in main.

not 100% certain but think they are guppies - as per a pic i put on fish forum. if this is the case i bought pregnant fish from the shop and it had babies in my tank. if it's not guppies its my tetra's which have been in the tank for 7weeks.

hopefully now they are safe they will grow.
