hello, how is everyone?

i am so nervous when dave gets back i am going to find out about a job i have been offered- its only on a saturday, but it will really help us with money, i wanted something little like this so its perfect, the man in the shop offered it to me, no interview needed and its just down the road. So i am goin in later to discuss it a bit more and to take in my paperwork, its so daunting, give me a class of 4 year olds no problem but i am really nervous about working in a shop???!!!! It'll be nice, dave and izzy will get a daddy and daughter day each week (which i think they both need) and then with the little bit of extra money we will be able to do things rather than having to stay in to avoid spendin money!

Izzy has finally cracked it with her walking, two months after her first steps she is finally choosing to walk and can walk all around the flat. Its happened all of a sudden and it seems to be building her confidence everytime she does it! woohoo!

She had her MMR on thursday and so far so good, mind u i have heard it comes out about 9 days after. She did so well, obviously screamed the place down but soon recovered and smiled and waved bye to the nurse! lol

I went to see George at Addenbrookes hospital on Sunday(my friends little boy who is on his 4th round of chemo for leukamia). He was doing so well in the morning, slight temp but dancing and smiling, but then took a turn for the worse whilst we were there, he then needed a blood transfusion before we left. I think his mum is doing so well, and he seems to be coping amazingly considering how ill he must feel, poor little man. He has one more round of chemo after this, so mum is hopin they will be home march time. Bless him x

Hope u and LO's are all well?
Hows the pregnancy going sb22?
Vicks- Fantastic on Joe's walking! he sounds like he is picking it up easily! clever man!
Leelee- hows the new place? hows chloe?
any news on ttc from mom2pne?
Amy- hows Blakes hair? Cant believe ELC didnt think of children repeating it when they made the dinosaur!

Hey Ally! Good luck with the job hunni, how did it go this evening? Hope it went well.

Thanks about joey's walking! He just started on Sunday, out of nowhere, it was so weird!! Now he's walking everywhere, then just drops down and crawls!! Everyone said it would just happen one day and I didn't see how really, but it totally did!

Hope everyone's ok. Things (apart from Joe walking) are quiet, had a lovely weekend just chilling out at home which was fab and we all needed it! Trying to plan a little holiday later on this year, rent a cottage somewhere for a week to get away and chill.

x

hey vicks! i bet u cant stop smiling and clapping Joe walking, he has done so well. Now when Izzy is walking about i still clap her, and she is like yeah yeah mum!
Last night went ok, i went for a chat with them and have arranged to train this saturday for a couple of hours and then start the saturday after! i am so nervous, as really i will be in the shop on my own, the manager will be in the post office so i cant really disturb him if i get stuck or anything! Hopefully i'll feel calmer after training! not to worried about the till, just the lottery machine, the lottery is so confusing now!
Glad to hear u had a weekend chilling Vicks, nice idea for a holiday, where r u thinking of going? we did a cottage in norfolk last year which was lovely, its the sun holiday this year as soon as we hear back from them!
x

Scally Thanks for asking about me! I'm still trying. I'm 2dpo and thinking about testing next Thursday. I'll be 9 dpo and it will be 7 months till my next birthday and 10 months till Christmas and I'd love getting a :bfp: as an early gift for both.

Lennox has been sick and I will be taking him to the dr later today.

The kids are home today because school has been cancelled thanks to the teachers going to the state capital to protest the cuts our Governor wants to make to the teachers benefits and to the actual funding for the schools. I hope my kids don't have to make up these days because it's not their fault school's out. Some communities have been out of school since Wednesday and there is no sign school will resume Monday.

Hoping for your :bfp: mom2pne!

Vicks! Joes walking? That's fab! How did that come about, was it like an overnight thing?

I think alex is close to it, shes unsure though, think it's a confidence thing, she panics if she finds herself standing with no support so drops to her knees. Bless her. Otherwise we've finally got her eating almost sorted. We had a dietician appointment and we were basically told to give her things I'm sure Jamie Oliver wouldn't be too chuffed about

As for me, well, baby still cooking! Yey

Fingers crossed for you BFP mom2pne!!!!! Hows lennox now? what did the doc say?
sb22- yay for baby still cooking!!!!!! i bet you are over the moon!!! Do u still have to have your tests regularly? Izzy was like Alex- really panicked when she was on her feet, and used to have the biggest tantrums if u tried to make her walk or anything! she'll surprise u and just do it!
Izzy is so steady now, and shes only been walking properly for a couple of wks but she walks as well as her little friend who started walking 6 months ago! We are going to get her a pair of walkers from clarks today as she is walking outside now and need to replace her cruisers x

I really am, being a second pregnancy I had it in my head that I wouldn't get this far. I'm six weeks further than I was with Alex today, that's like, massive! Part of me wondered if this pregnancy we'd find the answer to why Alex was early, but doesn't look like it  I still have the tests too, urgh, I am so done with them now

Certainly didn't know how sore 3rd tri can be though, maybe I didn't miss out on as much as I thought?

Trying to get Alex to chill out, shes throwing tantrums if she can't have her beloved keys(our keys) or iPhone (our iPhones) and I just feel like people are giving us dodgy looks when they see this wee girl swiping the iPhone screen like she knows what to do

Maybe Alex coming early was just a fluke, i bet its weird being so big, and being in the third trimester- 6 weeks further than when Alex was born, that is a massive amount!
Got to love the tantrums! Got to love how clued up our toddlers our to technology, they'll be touch typing by the time they're two!
When Izzy starts having a tantrum, we count to 5, and she seems to calm down by 3 (think she is wondering what we are doing) then we ask her to tell us whats wrong, and she will in her own little way, that gives us enough time to distract her! lol

Ooh there's an idea! Thank you! That might be something to try, if anything to confuse her

hey all!
Scally we are all good thank you, pregnancy is going well and little miss keeps trying to run! lol she looks so cute when she does it! Chloe now has 3 pairs of outside walking shoes and my god they certainly can charge! lol she has a pair of clarks walkers, a pair of hello kitty trainers and a cute pair of polka dot wellys! and i bought her an adorable minnie mouse raincoat as i couldnt resist! but it was £20! so i got it in size 3-4 to make it last a little longer!

Chloe has been walking for a little over a month now and i still cant belive it, she looks so small!

sb22 yay on getting so far along!
and vicks yay to joe on his walking!
how is everyone else?
xxx

Vicks that is great that Joe is walking!

sb22 Glad you are way further along and almost to full term!

LeeLee glad Chloe is walking too! I'm sure if I had a girl I'd have more pairs of shoes for than what I have for Lennox. Which is only one pair. lol But he loves them! They are Toy Story 3 shoes that light up when he walks.

Speaking of Lennox he just had a bad virus. He's fine now and his rash is all cleared up.

Thank you for the well wishes! I hope I get a :bfp: too! I'm not going to test till next week though!

aww poor lennox. glad he ios on the mend tho!
i thought 3 pairs for now was reasonable as i like the fist walkers from clarks but they cost almost £30 a pair!
heres hoping u get ur BFP soon too xxx

on a pregnancy note ARGHHH!! lol
my jeans actually felt loose last week and now this week they are suddenly tight and i can't have them done up when i sit down :( i have to buy some comfy maternity ones already! even tho i have actually lost 1lb! i remember that when i was pregnant with Chloe at 12 weeks i had already put on half a stone and so far in this one i am lighter than pre-pregnancy! lol xxx

leelee- how does Chloe walk in the wellies? was going to get some for izzy but thought they might be too heavy? We have just the one pair for now, knowing my luck her feet will grow in the next couple of weeks!
ahhh bless ya with your jeans not fitting, time for maternity ones....
mom2pne- good luck hun x

they are a little big and she has only worn them once but they are not too heavy. we got them from next for £9.

going to go to town and buy some maternity jeans today...been living in joggers the past few days! lol xxx

hi all,

hope everyones well. we're not too bad, we've had te coughs/coulds/sickness etc and blake lost nearly 1kilo of weight from it was syringe fed every 10mins for 24hrs (had he not responded was going hosp on drip. - HV have gone mad at me and asked IF i am feeding him??? u what??? wouldnt listen to me about how ill he was.

he has major attitude and temper especially if he cant get/do his own thing. he is worse than the other 2.

we get strange looks from ppl when he is walking on reins cos he still small (9-12clothes still) and even heard 1 lady saying to the lady she was with how cruel it is to make a baby of that age walk!!! i said in rather loud voice to hubby how we need to start planning his 2nd birthday party as its not far away (we few months!!!) and that i hope he does get too many clothes in that size as they will drown him cos he small.

Amy I'm sorry you've had to deal with sick kiddos and HV not listening to you! I hope Blake is doing better and gaining all the weight he lost!

I so sympathize with you with having a small lo. Ty will be 15 in July and wears the same size his older brother wore when he was in the 3rd grade- size 10 boys. Trent was a bit chunky at times right before growth spurts. Now he's 6 feet 2 inches and very slim.

hi,

thanx hun. he seems fine now, so guessing it was just a sickness bug, luckily for me it didnt pass to the rest of us.

That's great Amy! I hope there's no more sick kiddos for you!

As for me I got a :bfp: on the 2nd with a FRER and went for a blood test to confirm it. That came back + too! I think I may have a chemical pregnancy though. I've taken 2 hpt's since and both are :bfn: 's. I called my OB to get a quantitive blood test to check my levels, but they won't call me back to set it up. :growlmad:
