septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Hope no spots appear Scally!

Most of you who're on my facebook would have seen my scan piccies :) baby was measureing at 10+4 which was spot on for my dates but baby was too small for them to see the nuchal fold so I get to go back on Friday :) Can't wait to see how much bubs has grown :)

This was my new lil baba on Wednesday... Baby at 10+4.jpg :)

We saw the little heart beat and apparently the baby is quite happy in there :)

That's great Rees! So cute!

AFU Trent's loving Germany! He has 10 more days and then he'll be home.

The twins are in summer school and swim classes. Which they love both.

Ty loves riding his bike.

Len went to playgroup today.

I am losing weight and am the lowest I've been in a very long time. Only 123 pounds to be at 160 and start ttc for baby #6.

mom2pne- woohoo go you with the weightloss!! i cant wait to be able to loose weight again, i want to get back down to what i was before i had Chloe...so quiet a few stone to loose :( boohoo

congrats on the weight loss mom2pne

.....any more chicken pox out breaks anyone...?

Well my scan went great, it was really clear. We're having another boy - im so excited!!!!

Noahs molars have finally come through - all 4 of them. And i can see a pressure point on his top left canines, so it doesn't look like they be long in the making!!

Awwww! Congrats Diz :)

Our NT scan went well, got 4 more scan piccy's it was quite amazing to see the difference in 10 days :)

Hopefully this time round we'll be able to see what we're having!

Glad the scans went well Diz and Rees :) It must be so exciting, with the new LO's on their way!

Haven't been on here in a while, so much to catch-up on!

Joe's still not really talking, I'm getting worried now :( He says dadda, nanna but nothing else apart from that. He understands what I'm saying, but apart from grunts to reply to me, he doesn't say anything else. Am I right to be worried girls? Need some advice, I don't know whether to take a trip to the HV to ask their opinion, but I haven't really found them much help in the past...

x

Vicks, apparently my fella didn't talk for AGES, and then his first proper word was "avacado" apparently! But then I think that he could never get a word in edgeways with his mum :)

Maybe he just won't be a big talker? Unfortunately I think Tegan has inherited her grannie's gene, most of it is still babbling though.

If you really are worried I'd just take him to your GP as they're possibly more effective than the HV's, although I don't know if they'll do anything before he's 2.

Have you tried going through picture books and asking him what the animals are, or at least what noises they make? It's how we started with Tegs, although she does tend to meow at dogs she sees in the street instead of woofing  (She does still meow at cats though :) )

Thanks Rees :hugs:

He does babble, but no actual words. I was worried when he didn't walk til 16 months, but then he started walking and never stopped, so I think he'll be the same with talking. He'll probably start will full sentances and words I've never heard of!!

I think I'll leave it a few more weeks and then maybe go and see our GP.

Hope everyone's ok xx

My friend's little girl has just had her 2 year check, and I don't think they worry too much about speech, they only asked her if she could string 2 words together (the fact that she can speak in full sentences didn't come up )

I'm sure he'll be fine and you'll be wishing you could get him to shut up  Tegan tries to ask me something by going: "Mummy??..... ablah di-dah bul da tee?" which is quite cute but frustrating as she obviously wants to ask me something but can't quite form all the words yet!

Hope you don't have to go to the docs, we did about Tegan's lack of walking at 18 months and when we got the appointment through she still wasn't walking, but then a week later they cancelled it and she was walking by then anyway  They are buggers...

Thanks honey.

I've decided to leave it until the end of this month and then go to the doctors if he's still not talking by then. Like you said, he'll probably start the day after or something like that lol!

xx

More than likely :) keep us updated though! :hugs:

Vicks.. my friends baby didn't really start talking until she was two.. but was perfect and no baby talk at all!

Personally I wouldn't worry until he is two.. but talk to him loads and encorage him at home as much as possible - I don't think they get worried about getting speach theorpists involved until 2.5.

How is everyonve? Only a few months and our LO will be two!

Sssshhhhh! Don't say those words! I really don't want my baby turning 2 :( It's such a scary thought :(

Any ideas about presents?

I'm tempted to ask people NOT to buy her toys, she has so many, but then the new baby can have them in a few years time! It's so hard to decide what to do :(

I know, Joe is 22 months on Tuesday, the last 2 years have flown by!!!

Rees, I think I'm going to say no clothes, Joe has more than me lol!! But if anyone asks, say to get toys from 2 upwards, so I can rotate them, he already has loads but seems to get bored so easily of them. Think he just loves having so many different ones at nursery, the ones at home don't interest him anymore!

I'm tempted to say arty/messy things like playdough! She loves to draw and is attempting at colouring in (some of her books now have new faces  ) She'll need some new clothes, but I'm not sure on toys, we want to get her either a baby laptop thing, chalk board easel, chair and desk, or a big toy oven! At least xmas isn't too far away  (can you believe it'll be their 3rd Christmas??)

eeek 2nd birthday...3rd christmas...2 children!! rees what u trying to do to me!!! lol its mad how time flys...i could have my baby boy in the next 6-7 weeks!! eeeeeeeeeeeeek
on the plus side my bp is good and no protine in my urine :D fab news as think it started going up now with Chloe. annnnd my fundal hight is now 32 weeks?! lol at 28 weeks i measured 33 weeks lol and gona be 32 weeks friday so pretty much spot on! xx
