vicks, sorry to hear ur lil 1 isnt talking, i'm sure its nothing serious, does he turn when you talk to him/loud noises etc? if so it means he can hear you. a friend of mines son starts school in september and he only started to talk in april this year (1 month after he turned 4). my friend was going mad with worry, she had him at the doctors who all did hearing tests/voice box tests and where fine etc, they put him under speech therapy unit and all sorts. the lad baffled them all as to why he couldnt/wouldnt talk. then he just suddenly started.

blake is a right character. he can throow a major paddy if he doesnt get his own way, can be quite funnt to watch. he now counts up to 5, thanks to watching dora. if he doesnt watch them between 8:30am-9:30am you can forget a peacful day!!!

i cant believe its nearly all their 2nd birthdays. we have got blake a dinosaur that roars, a set of hard back mini books on dinosaurs and a ????? (cant remember) but its dino related as he has a big thing about them. problem i have this year is that we are away for his birthday so i am limited on what i can take with us. luckily the lady who owns the cottage we staying at is a farmers wife and has agreed to make me a dino cake for him.

It's been so hot today and I'm cranky Have got a ribena lolly so that's helping and Tegs is having a nap (can hear her snoring in her pram! )

hi,

the dino bits have been packed already in the bag with the hiking sticks, boots, waterproofs, 1st aid kit and other hiking bits, mainly so we dont 4get them.

i nearly bought him an inflatable dino from mothercare (reduced from £12 to £3) but the t-rex actually stood about 3-4inches taller than blake. LOL!

yes it could have been funny him vs dino but i think the cat may have pierced it.

the other dino bit was 2 colouring books and set of pencils.

the school hols are now upon us, so i'm sure there is going to be plenty of fights etc.

I'm now on day 4 of chicken pox, and it's hellish, at least they hardly itch now!

I can't believe 2 is closing in on us so fast! I still remember my oldest as a baby and hes going to be 18 in April. Also, My second ds is 15 today.

How is everyone doing? Any belly pics or u/s pics from the pregnant ladies? Any new pics of our September 09 LO's?

I'll post one later as soon as I get my camera back from my oldest who still has yet to show me the pictures he took in Germany and Austria!

I HAVE MY C-SECTION DATE!!! omg lol becoming more real now...in 5 weeks excatly (2nd september) i will be a mummy to two under 2! and then 18 days later it's madams birthday! exciting! i really need to get a shift on now with her presants but have no idea what to get her! she has everything already! i have got her a new dolly and a lovely silvercross pram that is the same as the pram i have for lil man just in a different colour!! she doesnt NEED anything else as i am impaitiant and if i see somthing i like for her i buy it and she gets it same day!! lol
we will be taking her to wacky warehouse (a big soft play place) but only my mum, OH and baby and i will be going with her as its going to be too much stress to have a party or anything with a newborn and me recovering from a c-section!
we spent sooo much last year and just can't afford it now so just going to make do!

anyone have any ideas as to what i can get Chloe??

Thank you leelee! You could get Chloe dress-up outfits, books, money into a savings account or a doll house or a kitchen playset. I'm clueless! I grew up with 2 older brothers and I only have boys and have no idea what little girls like! Yay on the c-sec day! How exciting! Hey, that could be her present! lol My twins are my oldest's 12th birthday gift. They were born 6 days before it though.

thank you! shes not really into dressing up yet tho! seen some lovely dressing up stuff in disney store but going to have to wait till she wants to dress up! lol we are getting her a kitchen for christmas as need a main presant for then too! lol kids can be so hard to buy for! lol xxx

Hey leelee! We are getting Izzy a mini kitchen (as small flat), and my parents are going to get her some dressing up outfits (as she is obsessed with clothes, jewellery etc. We have also asked for jigsaws and/or happyland stuff from daves family.

It seems as though there are lots of Septemer 09 LO's being made big brothers or sisters, even on the other boards. I am in a group that spinned off from babycenter.com and there are only 9 of us and 1 was pg before me and is due in about 6 weeks. Then I was due November 9th and sadly, m/c'd. and days after that another member got her bfp and was due days after I was. and within the last few weeks 2 more got bfp's. That's 4 that are now pregnant. 2 more are trying. 1 has had a tubal done and then there is me and 1 more that are wttc. Wish I was still pregnant! I'd be 27.5 weeks along.

Hi ladies, how is everyone? been so busy recently with all the kids i barely have a minute to myself. Billy has chicken pox so i'm just hoping he doesn't give it to Darcy.

LeeLee can't believe you only have 2 weeks left only seems like yesterday you announced you was pregnant!

Darcy is growing so quickly now she is 13lbs and still a boobie monster will post a couple of pics of her and Billy for you all.

Make that 5 of the 9 members are pregnant. Another got a very dark bfp this morning! I feel out of place as they are talking about finding out what they are having, names, nursery themes and preggy symptoms. Everything I'd love to talk about and experience!
