septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Hey
tis so scary returnin after sooo long :(
Am I even in the right place??

Hey Marg!
Its super quiet now...just awaiting news of lhamil and firstalien....
I will try to get tracking the mystery mamas that I have either missed or haven't been on...its sooooo much harder now haha

hey :D
Huge congrats to you for the birth of that gorgeous lil miss you have!
I kno what u mean bout it being harder, the only reason ive had chance to get on today is cuz ive been in bed all day poorly sick :(

So whats the plan once every1 has popped? do we move to a new home??

And how many still manage to get on here regularly??

miss u all so much!!deffo gna make time everyday to et on here again!!

Hey all...I finally got as far as typing so I don't dare read back too much incase I then get summoned away...
Hope you are all well/recovering/enjoying baby time today.

I think my cracked nipples are healing! I used nipple shields yesterday to get some air and stop the breastpads sticking to the sore bits then making them worse...sadly I didn't think on about the vent bits, leant over and tipped the pooled excess milk all down myself!!!!

And up til then I had controlled all leakage, darnit. The only sheet mess I am getting is when Paloma overflows after her night feed!! :D

We have a baba home in the groups section of the lounge area thing that Amy set up - think we will try and merge them somehow...
Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly :( :hugs:

 Hi marg!!! How are you doing???

Morning Miss Wren!! Have fun tracking down mystery mummas!!

I am finding that I can type quite well one handed these days.. It's a useful skill!!! I am thinking of going for a wlak this afternoon..... humm..... can I be bothered??!!

Oh nipple shields... I never thought of that!! Mine is still split  although is slowly healing, but me thinks a shopping trip will be in order tomorrow and nipple shields will be at the top of the list!

:hi: btw!

Oh FG - I may have to join you in the 12-3am wake up! Isaac seems to be terrible at that time if we don't get his bath/bed routine right!!

:hi: Marg!!! wow been aggggges, hows u and jack?? sorry ur feeling poorly :hugs: nothin worse i was feeling terrible the past couple days, and fluy!! :grr: feeling much better now tho phew!!

i hope we can merge this into our baby group as would be such a shame as weve had this thread for like EVER lol!!....i looked back about me complainin of MS...oh the memories lol

Kathryn, we really need to get a bath/bedtime routine set up - that might be where we're going wrong!! We're sooooooooo bad at routine, although I am trying. We're not bathing Finn every day at the moment though as his skin has been so dry, so once we start doing that it should help the whole routine thing. Hopefully.

Rach, I gave Finn Infacol to see if it would help his midnight-3am wake up but it really doesn't and I was actually wondering if it made him worse. I think I'll be holding off on using it now and moving on to gripe water as soon as he's old enough.

Misswren, hope your poorly nipples heal up soon! :hugs:

Finn and I are doing okay today. It was my first proper day on my own with him as OH has just gone back to work and so far so good! He was a bit unsettled this morning but I eventually got him to sleep so I could bath and get out of my PJs at about 11.30am. Since then he's been good as gold (touch wood!) and we've even been for a walk down to Sainsburys to get a few bits and pieces :) His 3 hour colic session was earlier last night, from about 9.30pm - midnight, so that was much better really. Still stressful, but at least he didn't keep us up TOO late!

Hope you're all doing well today :) x

FG - yeah ive stopped the infacol 2 and mason has been much better im sure it didnt agree with him, ill be trying the gripe water 2 when we can as my friend uses it and says its great!! Dazz went back to work yesterday and we miss him lol...but managing great i think hehe...:cloud9:

we're terrible with routine 2 im not normally in rountines myslef so gonna be tricky lol...also maosn has bad dry skin 2 so not bathing him loads but been slathering him in rapeseed oil which is working fab...altho its a bit randum putting cooking oil on him

Lol, I know what you mean Rach - I'm loading Finn up with olive oil which feels a bit weird too!! It does work, although he's got some dry skin on his eyelids and I figure I shouldn't put olive oil on his eyes so not quite sure what to do there?!?

Oh, btw, I finally did my birth story : https://www.babyandbump.com/birth-announcements-birth-stories/202160-finns-arrival-into-world.html#post3256090

thanx for the well wishes, tbh its jus a tummy bug and headache, but that mixed with exhaustion makes for a day in bed!! lol!

Jacks doin really well, 8wks old yday, weighing 8lb3oz at his last appt.
And he smiled for the 1st time yday!! soooo cute!! A lil late according to the 'average' baby, but his consultant has said to expect him to b about 3 wks behind for the 1st year or so because he was prem. thats fine by me... he'll do it all when hes ready!!

so howa u n all ur lil babas doin???

Hi Marg!!!!!!! New home is here if you can't find it https://www.babyandbump.com/bnb-groups/187926-septembryos-baby-area-09-babies.html

Mason has the same...i didnt really kno what 2 do, but i just got a cotton bud things and put a tiny bit of the oil on it and while he was sleeping just dabbed it on where the skin was flaking etc....seems to have worked and not bothered him, think as he hasnt rubbed his eyes when its on as he was sleeping ?! iykwim, dont kno if thats the right thing to do but seems to be working?! lol

off to read ur birth story hun xx

That sounds like a good idea hun.... don't think I've got any cotton buds in the house but I'll get some and try it!

HI GUYS!!! i'm back!!

well that was way more traumatic than i expected lol...just a quick synopsis:

went in on tue 6th for induction...after first pesery (sp?) babas hr was a lil strange. so 6 hrs later broke my waters n got things goin with a BLOODY DRIP!!! the one thing i was dreading! and mention of a c-section if he don't smarten up so am given zantac in prep for theatre just incase...9pm i'm 4 cm and things are hurting a lil but stuck with gas n air once i figured how to use it...
2am i'm now fully dialated and started to push...lil' man then decids to be all quiet on me...so within 10 min i'm prepped for theatre and knocked out for what we thought would be a section....woke up at 3am (i think!) and i had a forcep delivery as lil man was low enough to avoid section

so all in all was a bit traumatic for me..lil man is fine...i am soo! sore and had to have 3 days in hospital but i'm home now and have had a nice long sleep n feel much better

so FINALY! my big baby boy
