Is that the KE aquanatal? I'm tempted to give it a try, imagine it's quite good fun!

Nesting already folly?! ;) x

Yes, the KE one, group aquanatal outing? :)

Well I only have 4 weeks to go and there's quite a lot of housework to catch up on so I should probably have started already ;)

I'd be interested if I can wangle an extended lunch break on Fridays!

I wish I was on maternity leave, Friday lunchtime swim then down to Eccy Road for coffee!

It won't be long before u are on maternity leave ... Time flies once you've passed 20 weeks!

Back to work for me tomorrow, but at least its only for 3 days! X

Hello, I'm back :) It was really nice to meet some of you and I hope we can do it again soon. Sorry, I talk non-stop at times :haha:.

I've not been on in a while because I've not been feeling very well so I've just been resting in between looking after Ethan. I hope you all had nice weekends and it would be lovely to meet Archie at the next meet up :)

I thought I'd just pop on here for a bit seeing as Ethan's sound asleep and I'm tired of studying Human Rights- so boring :haha:

You'll get an even bigger shock when it's your baby!! LOL :happydance:

I'm sorry but you can only come if you promise to tell us how easy having a baby is  emz was very clear on how wonderful it all is :winkwink:

Ohh, we're off to the coast at the weekend too - got a wedding to go to and going to combine it with a waddle on the beach - can't wait!

Think I may give aquanatal a go this Friday, unless later in the week I feel that's a bit ambitious for my second day off work! Who am I kidding? I am itching to clean the house - flipping hormones!

This made me laugh :haha: It's wonderful but very tiring. :dohh: You'll adjust fairly quickly though :)

Oh dear, hope your feeling better!

We'll definitely have to arrange another meet-up! I have managed to get a longer lunch on Fridays to go to the Aquanatal if any-one fancied it?

Hi emz, hope you're feeling much better!

I think we need a social secretary that arranges our get togethers! ;)

With aquanatal, I wouldn't mind trying it too. When are u thinking of going?

If your midwife recommends aquanatal for medical reasons then you are entitled to paid time off to attend! Just ask her about it at your next appointment - most pregnant women can find a medical reason why it would be good for them to attend.

The aqua-natal at King Edwards is 1.15pm on Fridays, haven't looked into booking or anything yet though. Fancy it? Group outing hehehe?

If they have any spaces I'm free from this week onwards, the only time I can't make it is if I have any "business critical meetings" but apart from that my boss was happy for me to take a flexible day, so lunch 12.30-2.30ish.

Would be nice to have company to go with, hopefully we won't feel as silly lol

Are u thinking this Friday? I think I'm free...

Wonder if we need to book? Might be worth looking in to I guess!
Anyways let me know what u decide!

Just in case anyone is interested theres a deal on living social today (it's like groupon) for a pregnancy massage in Sheffield for £16. Here's the link

Just had my last antenatal class with the midwife who does the KE aquanatal class and I mentioned I was planning to go this week - just as well I did as apparently they are having a two week holiday so it's not on this week or next week! Typical!

You don't have to book, can just turn up for KE, apparently at last weeks Hillsborough one 50 women turned up so you have to book for that one. She said it's because there is a September baby boom though so should quieten down in October :D

emz - hope you are feeling better!

Good job you told us that! Shame re the timing though...

Your last day at work today? Woooooohoooo!!

Yes - last day - yay! Hubby had yesterday off and cleaned the house bless him so won't feel like I have to do it :D

Maybe we could all meet for coffee or something for lack of aquanatal?

Shame about aqua aerobics, lets try again when its back on. Am up for a coffee instead?

Right, gonna check out that massage, I ache at the moment, a massage sounds just the thing!
