Oh get togethers. :) i like getting out the house. xxx

More the merrier! You can both give us all your hints and tips as we're first timers! ;)

I have Friday afternoon next week, is it the week after your maternity starts Rachel?

Archie had a wonderful photoshoot yesterday with Richard at Norton Lees Photography. I would definately recommend him if you're looking for a photographer for your LO. He comes to your house, spends about an hour photographing LO, then comes back with your proofs and the final shots.

Some of Archie's shots are on his website:

Aw, they're lovely, we were looking at his stand at a baby show on Sunday!

We were there as well - I might have walked past you! What time were you there? We were there from about 9.15 - got his hand and foot prints done, then we did the baby sensory taster session, which he loved.

We did the sensory too - well we joined in at the end as madam was asleep through the beginning! We must have been practically next to each other! I thought it was fab! Isabella liked the shiny pompom, think we might sign up, the lady on the stall said she'd call this week about a free class but not heard anything yet! The price on the website seems quite reasonable. (I say that still reeling from the cost of baby swimming lessons!)

I used far too many exclamation marks in that post, going to sit in the corner and think about what I've done ;)

We're going to go to the baby sensory as well, Archie loved the pom poms and the rattles. I couldn't believe the price of the swimming lessons either! No way am I paying £12 for a 30 minute lesson - plus you have to pay for 10 lessons up front, no option of trying it first.

Sw121-great piccies of Your Archie!

Where was the baby show?
The baby sensory sounds good-is there anything online about it?

Was at Sheffield park hotel! They had a nearly new sale and I bought way too much!

https://www.babysensory.com/en/Default.aspx?&CL=1

It was songs with a bit of signing and then different things to stimulate their senses, pompoms, material etc you could see how it would benefit them I think

Hey,

Sorry haven't been online in a while, have just been exhausted. I start maternity leave on the 11th at lunchtime - WooHoo. I can't do that Friday afternoon as its one of my friends birthday's. But you lot go ahead and meet up and I'll join the next when I'll be a proper lady of leisure!

Welcome to the newbies!

I had my midwife home visit last week and all good except naughty baby still isn't head down, but we have an appt 36w 1d so she's going to have another check then. Have been using my ball so hopefully he should have moved by then!

When did yours go head down?

Never - LOL! Ended up with a section because he wouldn't budge.

Have you tried getting on all fours and sticking your bum in the air with your chin on the floor? I did that loads, plus my birthing ball.

If anyone decides to use Richard as well, would you mind mentioning my name? I would get a free piccie of Archie if I recommend Richard to anyone. Just mention Sam and Archie and he should know who you mean.

Got our pictures and canvas today - a massive canvas of Archie is now in pride of place above the fireplace!

Naughty baby! Hopefully he will move head down soon... My little one was head down as soon as they started checking-think about 32 weeks perhaps?
There's still time for him to move for you.

Let me know if u fancy coffee next week once you're on leave

Xx
