Nice to see you back, 11 weeks, wow are you getting excited yet?

My LO has just started kicking in the past week so seems a lot more real for me. Saw the midwife today and she mentioned parent classes at Esportia, did you get referred to them also?

Mixture of excitement and a few nerves too I think!

I'm going to a class at Esporta in October-it's 12 days before my due date but that's the only class I could get booked in to! Think u have to book in early!
My little one doesn't stop moving around at the mo but it's a nice feeling knowing everything is ok in there!
Have u got a bump now?

Tried to book my classes today and the lady said they were fully booked and to speak to my MW....have text her as her phone was turned off, but how on earth can they be booked up until then? I thought you only got told where you would be going after your 20w scan???

I was also surprised when they said I couldn't do a class until October - so close to the due date!
I hadn't even thought about getting booked in to classes until we discussed it at my 20 week midwife appointment anyway.... ! Perhaps some midwives encourage you to get booked in earlier?

excited?! excited?! lol OH and i have a pep talk everyday and discuss a game plan for what we shall do if i go into labour that day!

yes first baby! we're having a boy! do you know what you're having? i cant imagine not knowing!! x

No idea what we are having - it's a surprise. All will be revealed eventually!
People are pretty split too - about half think girl and half think boy - I guess someone has to be right ;-)

Getting excited now even though there's still a fair amount of time to go...

mungaroo26 - Have chased up the midwife and hopefully she will sort it out. Was it just a 1 day session at Esporta your booked on? Doesn't seem a lot to tell you what to do with a baby :-/ might have to look into NCT. Did you start those excursive classes?

htaylor - I'm having a boy also, very excited, but also nervous as have no idea what little boys like! Are you still at work or on maternity leave yet? Love the idea of the daily pep talk, my OH would prob just laugh at me and tell me just don't panic and call him lol.

It's just a 1 day session yes...

I started those exercise classes yes - have been to 2 so far... it's just really light exercise and also some relaxation, and the last half hour is a discussion focusing on a pregnancy related topic. It's been a useful way to learn without having to spend an entire day at an antenatal class. You should give it a go, especially if you're struggling to find another antenatal class to attend.

htaylor - I think I do live very close to ArcaneSpark! Think there's quite a few of us close together that are all going to be first time mums at a very similar time. Are you looking to arrange a meet up?
