Should I start giving her more?

My LO is 8 weeks on Thursday and has been taking 4oz every 4 hours since she was 4 weeks, lately she's been eating every 2.5 to 3 hours, should I up her to 5 or 6oz now?

You should try for sure and see how she does. I'd just do five ounces. Shell either refuse or spit it up of she doesn't want it, that's the worst that will happen.

if they drain the bottle, increase by an ounce. owen does drive me crazy though with taking a lot some times and taking 2ozs the next. ends up being a lot of waste. i also noticed he will drain a 6oz bottle which is more like 7ozs at night and during the day, he literally plays with it!

If your lo is draining the bottle and still sucking maybe up to an extra oz. Even if means wasting an oz just give it a bit of time. Your baby will let you know when they want more hun they will suck the bottle dry...if shes happy with what shes got dont worry about it xxx

My LO is draining her bottle too but she is already on 6oz and she is only 11 weeks. I dont want to over feed her because if she is anything like my first she will finish the bottle even if she's full and then throw it all up!! Someone suggested giving water inbetween but i dont want to fill her up on water if she is truly hungry.

I started to give her 5oz cause she always eats the entire 4oz....but sometimes she'll only take 3oz...lol, oh well, rather waste a few oz then let her go hungry. She took 8oz the other day....well 1 4oz bottle, then 45 minutes later another 4oz, lol, chubby baby

Whenever H drains the bottle I always up the next bottle by an oz, its only one scoop off milk, id rather that bit extra be there if he wants it.
