Paige and I were at a huge dance championships in Dunoon at the weekend. Our first time at a festival and Paige was absolutely amazing. She won her qualifier on the Friday night then made the grand final on the Sunday... and won! That's her no longer a beginner and so from now on will dance in the higher section. She is already in the higher section for her slow dance and again she smashed it and came away with 4th place, which is amazing considering how big the competition was. Had a great weekend

First is an action shot, taken by a photographer whilsy she was dancing at one of the judges. That's the face of a girl who is absolutely loving life on that floor!
2nd is her wearing her slow dance costume
3rd is all of the girls from her dance school who made their solo grand finals with their trophies

Ready for Spotacular day at school for Children in Need

Thomas went into hospital Wednesday to have grommets put in both ears. Putting him under was traumatic (again). The operation itself took longer than expected and the surgeon isn't hopeful as his ear drums are scarred, thin and sucked in :( recovery was quite funny he kept trying to get out of the bed and had stripped himself naked by the time we got back to the ward :haha: it took him a while to come round fully and his blood pressure was low for a while but we did manage to come home the same day.

Aw poor sweet Thomas. I am sorry the op took longer but I hope the grommets will help despite the surgeons diagnosis. :hugs:

Great photos everyone!

Poor Thomas, I hope the grommets will help :hugs:

Sorry Janice I'm no help my son is 6 and I've no plans on having any other children.

Thanks girls. He's coped really well since we got home. The doctor said we'd see a difference straight away with his hearing (and he can't wear hearing aids right now) but we've not seen a difference. Hopefully they will help I really don't want to do it all over again :(
