Maine Coons are like the dogs of the cat world - if that even makes sense.
We went with the breed because I love cats and DF prefers dogs! He's a lovely boy.

Maybe that's the way to go for us I assume from the lead and his being a pedigree that he's a house cat? I'd prefer that as we have a busy main road not far from us and I know I'd be a bag of nerves letting them out.
He is indeed. We live very rural but we still don't trust to let him out on his own. Hes quite smart but really lacks common sense!!
He's on a lead and harness when our sons in the garden with us because he doesn't like to be chased and freaks out sometimes. But if it's just me and DF or one of us he has the roam of the garden without being on a lead, he normally just stays close to us .
I forgot to post a pic of Sebastian, hes not a pedigree or anything bless him, infact he is a tiny runt of a cat(runt of the litter), and always looks "straggly" he just has one of those homeless cat looks about him! but of course i love him
This is Twix, yes she was named after the chocolate bar (Poor dog goes by about a thousand different names including Wixxle, Wixxy, Twixilicious, Muttersly, Lady Fartalot) Twix is when she knows she is doing something she isn't supposed to.
Wixxle is what she normally gets called though.. The twins like Wixxle.
I posted once about Twix and got lots of negative posts saying I should get rid of her but I didn't and nor would I. she isn't just a pet she is family. She gets treated just like the twins do.
