I have been TTC for about 3 years now. I am almost 36 and nervous/stressed I won't be able to experience motherhood. My mother died 3 years ago and I regret not having children while she was still living and well. My bf/fiancé has a 3 year old so the fact that we haven't conceived must be on me. This would be my first.

I do not understand the signs/symptoms because EVERY month I think I am pregnant. My body seems to be fairly predictable every month the same thing. I can feel when I ovulate and as I get older ovulation pain is more and more pronounced. However, I did not feel OP this month. I ovulated 7 days ago and my menstrual cycle isn't due for another 8 days. (sorry I do not know the lingo yet). I have been experiencing light cramping in abdomen, nausea, nipple tenderness and dizziness. Some back pain but that may be because I am on my feet all day. I snack all day but when I eat dinner (which unfortunately is the only meal I eat all day) I only eat half and I feel super bloated; so full! I don't know how to vomit but I feel like hurling every 10 minutes. I will not fully vomit but it will rise to the top of my throat; acid burns and I can taste it but it will go down. Maybe tmi.

Last month my menstrual cycle was weird. I was late 4 days (which is unusual for me) I again had no OP that month either. I started showing light pink and brown discharge then the next day it seemed to be a regular 3 day cycle.

Also, I have been taking prenatal vitamins. I have noticed that I am extremely wet down there. Sometimes it even soaks through my pants. Is this normal?

I hate the waiting. I am so impatient but I don't know what my body is telling me so I will wait for the missed period to start testing.

I think it is still too early to test for you. I will wait at least 6 more days.
3 years seems a long time. Have you seen any RE or specialist.
I also experienced ovulation pains every month and it was getting worse with the years. My RE told me it it is totally normal but there is a slight chance it might be Endometriosis, which can also affect fertility. I'm not saying that is you case. but you might as well get it checked, specially if you are getting other weird symptoms.
Good luck!

Hi,

I haven't been to a specialist. But I just started charting ovulation and all that good stuff that comes with TTC. In the past we have just been going at it like Jack Rabbits. I really thought it was that easy to conceive. So many girls get drunk, lay down and that's it...Diapers and Simalek. Also, my bf/fiancé smokes. So I am considering that is the reasons it is taking longer.

I hate the hospitals after staying with my mother through chemo but I may have to bite the bullet and go get checked out.

Also stress is a HUGE factor in having infertility problems. So that could also be causing weird things. Do your cycles stay the same length every month?

I would most definitely get checked out! DH and I have been TTC for 10 months, and I was concerned that it was taking so long. Went to doc, got diagnosed with PCOS, and am getting help with conceiving. You never know until you check!

I am stressed. But I am a Pisces so I feel like we are a little high strung emotional about most things. My cycles are predictable. I mean every month I start when I am supposed to and they generally last 3 days every time. I have some cramps the week before my cycle but during and after I am completely fine...no pain. I also feel some cramping during the week of ovulation but all pain is bearable without medication.

Yeah then i would definitely get checked out just to be sure
