Katie is walking now little monkey she is but very cute none the less
Aww hurray for Katie
I still feel like Toby is a long way from walking, although he has been pulling himself up and cruising with furniture for a while now but seems to much prefer crawling very fast! I'm not in a particular rush for him to master it though, we may have baby-proofed the house but it's certainly not toddler-proofed! Lol
Things have been a bit tough for us recently, Toby has been really quite poorly with one thing and another, he started with a cold about 5 weeks ago, ended up with tonsillitis and an ear infection which he went on antibiotics for, then started with diarrhea and vomiting (which i assumed was due to the antibiotics, amoxicillin is nasty Anyway, it got pretty bad he was very lethargic and stopped having wet nappies so we ended up at the children's hospital with him, to cut a long story short we were home after 5 hours, they'd taken a urine sample and told us to stop the antibiotics, encourage fluids and to fetch him back if he got any worse. He didn't get worse but didn't get better either So we were back at the GP on Wednesday and were told it was a virus and would get better in a few days, well, to be fair he did improve slightly, still having D&V but having wet nappies and a little brighter in himself.
Then we had a phonecall from the hospital on Friday afternoon, and 5 days after providing the urine specimen they decide to ring to tell us that actually, it turns out, all this time he's had a UTI So he is finally on the right antibiotics and on the mend. On top of that he now has his very 1st tooth (top front tooth) poking through the gum and it looks like several more are set to follow, his feeding and sleeping is all over the place (last night was hellish!) and my hours have increased at work now as well as OH being back at uni with exams and working part time to fetch in extra money so it's all been a bit nuts really. I am on nights this week then off on annual leave next week (Toby's birthday week) and really can't wait for a break and to enjoy spending some time with my little family!
