Speed bumps??

Hi girls I've come away for the weekend with OH and we got a taxi back to the b&b but the driver was flying over the speed bumps and it actually hurt and felt horrible going over them it made me really upset for bubs - will she be ok? I know she's well cushioned in there but it still worries me cos of how unpleasant it was for me. She's been kicking in the last 20 mins so think she's ok just need some reassurance x

I always wonder this too ... I get scared when going over speed bumps on the bus ...! Sorry not much help. I really don't know.

But I am sure she's fine! She's probably just letting you know that by kicking for ages! She probably didn't even notice it to be honest! Xx

Baby will have hardly noticed the bump,

My road has 13 speed bumps from top to bottom (we live near the top) and it hasn't caused a problem for us - and I do go over them too fast sometimes... you just get used to them and kind of forget to slow sometimes (if ds1 isn't in the car with me his car seat often ends up on its side!!). I am sure baby is well cusioned - unlike us!

Bubs will be completely fine in there. They're so well protected. If speed bumps were so dangerous for unborn babies we would have heard about it by now.

She'll be fine!! I have to travel 30 mins by bus back from work and the bus driver flies over them sometimes it bloody kills but only usually round ligament pain, my babies fine xx

i wouldnt worry hun... baby won't have even noticed bumps they are a lot more protected in there than we realise!
if anythin... if the baby felt the bumps they will have enjoyed it! lol, the only reason they're uncomfortable for us is because it puts more pressure on our organs.

Babs is fine, I go over speed bumps everyday...and have flown over some before forgetting they are there. Dont worry yourself, baby is well cushioned in there. x

I was wondering this also as some of the roads in poland are shockingly bad and i did a lot of long bus journeys and the drivers are maniacs! Us passengers were literally being thrown in the air, but bubs was kicking and rolling about like she was enjoying it!..xx

She was kicking away this morning and last night so know she's fine now but glad I posted or I'd have been worrying all weekend - managed to check replies on my phone!
