Well, it has been a long road.... But after over 3 years, 2 early MCs and lots of TTC... We received our long await on 9.14.12!! We have been EXTREMELY nervous given our history but on 10.8.12, we saw our almost 8w0d little bean growing and Heart BEATING!!!


As promised, I am starting this thread for my Bump Buddies and Future bump buddies and BnB friends. Please join, talk over the journey as we have at least 7 months to go!!! Wishing each and every one a Happy and Healthy pregnancy!!! STICKY

Hi mrsmm. I got my bfp on 6th october and i'm due on june 13 by lmp. Ovulation puts me as due june 10th though. That would make me that little more pregnant

Thanks for getting this group up and running. My ticker says due 6th June but I will probably be having a May baby due to elective section, which is normal 7-10 days early.

Have my scan on Friday at 6+1 and am struggling to get excited, think my self preservation defences are kicking in & not letting me feel too much until I see a heartbeat. Strangely, the only strong feeling I am getting is that I am having twins. How can that be that one minute I can't quite believe there is a living baby in there, then the next I keep thinking there are two!

Ooh Annie, Just noticed you had girls pretty much same time a my boys Mar 02/April05) with nothing since - just like me.
How do you think your girls will manage the gap?

The girls have been desperate for me to get pregnant again since the ectopic so hoping that the gap won't be an issue, at least not to begin with.
I am more worried about this baby being left out as the two older kids are very close. Also, having a 5 year old sibling when you are 15 may not be 'cool'.
My 7 year old still likes to be my baby at times so if anyone's nose is out of joint it may be her but I doubt it.
A boy in her class told her that sex was when people got naked and kissed either standing up or lying in bed. She finds the thought very distasteful but when I pointed out thats how babies are usually made, she asked if I could 'do sex' with dad just one time so she could get a baby brother or sister!
I can't wait to tell them

ANNIE, totally makes sense, our DD as you know has been wanting a sibling (she would prefer a boy, go figure) for like 5 years now. The age gap will be 10 almost eleven years as she is 9 (bday 10.27).... She is a nuturer so hoping it goes over well, but know that when she is 12-13, that little 2-3 year old will be on her nerves...

Have to laugh - my 9 year old just came up behind me and asked what the BNB website was about and why was I on it. I told her I was giving advice and support to other ladies who have had ectopics.
She then said 'aw right - it thought it was cos you were pregnant, I really want you to have another baby'
I can't wait to see their faces when we tell them, I may just film it!
