Yes, trigger should mean ovulation within 36 hours or so. The thing of it is I swear I felt ovulation a few hours before the trigger - it was the same sensation I had last time when I O'd on my BFP cycle. I don't think that the trigger should have made a difference, though. It'd be weird/good if I O'd on my own this time.

I'm second guessing myself because of the first Clomid cycle I was on w/out a trigger (below), where I thought that I O'd on CD17 (pains, CM, CP, and even a temp rise) but my 7DPO progesterone came back at 0.3, so no O I'd really only feel confident I O'd if I saw the higher post-O temps (97.7 and above) versus the lower (less than 97.6), which I saw on that crazy 1st Clomid cycle.

nursemommy - It's common to see a temp drop around 3-6dpo, even below the coverline. It's due to a secondary surge of estrogen that occurs early-mid luteal phase. The corpeus luteum cranks out progesterone as well as estrogen. As long as it comes back up tomorrow, you're good!

lady - OPKs drive me nuts! Sorry you haven't gotten a + yet. The only time that I caught my natural surge, I didn't have a fade in pattern. The test lines were light or blank for days then all of a sudden one night, wham! +OPK! Hope you get one really soon! If not, is your dr planning on doing another scan Monday?

I'm a little aggravated with myself. I'm away on a business trip and forgot my thermometer at home! No temping for the next 3 days. I'm pretty po'd about it because I've been doubting that I O'd (maybe I'm just always second guessing myself). I did only get 5 hours of sleep last night (I usually egt 8-9 hours) and woke up and hour before my normal temping time. I had a trigger shot so O is forced, but I guess it's just the pesimistic side in me. I need to think positive! ...What's the saying on here... "Think positive, be positive, pee positive"

I found the thermometer lodged in the seam of my luggage! Yay for temping! lol

GOOD NEWS.............

I have a number of follicles, the largest on the right is 17mm, and the largest on the left is 16.7mm, bit confussed as this is what was on the printed report but the lady said it was 14mm ??:
lining was 11.7mm

Hoping to be rescanned on CD15 - CD16
Planning on as much as possible on the wkend now, feeling a little dry on the cm front, so might buy preseed tomorrow to help with this.

Also showed I have a slight titled uterus, but they have said it's nothing to worry about........................have read that women with this should lay on their belly after BD, so won't harm if I try this as well.

Hey ladies, glad to hear everyone is doing well. I was out of town with the family for a few days but came back to CD 16 today and I got my true smiley face on the OPK this morning!!!! I even tested twice, with a different digi test each time. TWO smiley faces! I took three of the non-digi tests too, just to be sure LOL. I wasn't taking ANY chances that it was a false positive again. On the non-digis, the line was as dark as the control on one side then slightly lighter on the other, but I took them with FMU, so maybe that is why. They were however darker than any others I have taken this cycle. Same things just a few minutes ago, but darker line, totally mached the control.

Me and the DH DTD two days ago and will BD again tonight and for the next three days. Trying SMEP plan this time. I have this sharp pain on my right side to go along with it too, so thats a good sign... I am SOOOOO happy I am finally ovulating! AHHHH! *happy dance*

I have had all neg opk so far, but they are a med-dark negative so hopefully ovulation is coming hubby and I have been dtd every other day just to be safe and have some fun (;

I'm on CD15 today, waitting to test OPK in 2 hrs, so hard not to pee and have a drink in the meantime lol.
Not having another scan as they can't fit me in today...gutted. Was even more disappointed when my fertility nurse phoned me this morning to say, that if I'd been scanned in her hospital on Friday, with my results she would have given me a trigger shot, could have cried when she said this to me. Feeling mixed emotions today xxxxxxxxxx

Called my doctor today and told me to go ahead and start my Provera today as she doesn't believe I ovulated. I did have a positive ovulation test but she thinks it is probably a false positive as I got the result so late. This is sooo frustrating. Why am I wasting money on these stupid tests if they supposedly give false negatives?!?! She wouldn't even draw blood to confirm if I ovulated this time which was frustrating. I guess the provera won't hurt if I was pregnant so she told me to go ahead with provera and If I end up not getting my period to come back in for blood work. So today is day one on Provera...9 more to go!!! I was feeling rather crampy all day today so I bet AF was on her way anyway even though my temp did shoot back up this am.

Clomid ladies can O very late and still have a viable pregnancy. If you have a +OPK, legitimate line dark as or darker than Control, then there is a really high chance that you O'd.

I would absolutely demand to have betas taken in 3-5 days. I don't know about the effects of provera, but I do know for pregnancies they prescribe prometrium instead. I'd also be worried that if there was a pregnancy and I suddenly stopped taking provera, that the sharp drop in progesterone might have a negative effect.

Are you seeing an OBGYN or RE/Specialist? I'm sorry you're frustrated with your dr. Through this TTC process there's been a few times I didn't agree with mine and had to stand my ground.

My doctor is an OBYN. She is awesome and I love her, but this makes me angry. She said if I don't get my period before the end of my provera then I will have blood work done. I called the pharmacy and they said there will be no negative side effects if I was pregnant and took this med. The suggested either I will be pregnant or the meds will help my period to start. If you guys are good at charting take peek at mine...my temp shot wayyyyyy up this am. I kind of wonder if it isn't because there is a HUGE heatwave going through here right now and that is affecting my temps. I am 8 to 9 dpo so I guessw if I don't have my period by next wed I will be testing again. Woke up very nauseated but I also woke up very very hot which makes me nauseated as well. Lots of cramping today too but not AF cramping yet.

Yes, I got rescanned yestarday but all confussing, as on the scan it showed a follice on left measuring 19mm, but also had fluid in my cervix which the woman doing the scan said could be an idication I had ovulated and the liquid was from the follice.

BUT when I spoke to my fertility nurse she said as I had the 19mm still there that ovulation could be due by today ????????????????

So, just BD every other day and hoping we catch that egg. Really messed with my head though.

Ughh! That's confusing! I wonder if you did O if the 19mm was one of the two follies you saw on your last scan that didn't release? Either way, glad to hear you either O'd or will O! Are they checking your progesterone?

I'm doing well, thanks! Might start testing out my trigger shot tomorrow (7 days past trigger). Trying not to symptom spot, but it's hard. Last BFP I had really bad AF cramps on 7DPO for only 5 hours and got +HPT 2 days later. Tomorrow is 7DPO for me so over the next day or so I'm probably going to be looking for any cramping

I think it hasn't released, as long as one did...only takes one right
I had to ask for a blood form, so going to test on CD22 which will be Monday, as cd21 falls on a Sunday this month.

Hi everyone, I am new to this site, I am on cd 4 and taking 50mg of clomid on cd 3-7. My doctor gave me provera to bring on AF since I rarely get it more then twice a year. I'm really hoping this works on our first round. I go in for my folicle scan next Friday so I hope I get some good news.
