Starting IVF in march/april 2015 - buddies wanted :)

Yay we're getting closer I got a call from the pharmacy today I will be getting mail order pharmacy. I'm hoping my insurance pays for some of it. I got tomorrow for my calendar and to teach my DH how to give injections.

Can I join this thread please. I'm due to start IVF in March or April and I am completely terrified! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for three years. He has poor sperm morphology (0% normal) x

Hope you don't mind if i join.
I will be starting IVF for the first time late March/Early April. We have been trying for about 4 years now. We have done 5 IUIs with one miscarriage and one ectopic.
Any advise for first timers.

Mrs W how is it all going? BMW it's only around the corner for you now. How exciting! I need to ring and book my nurse meeting but i still have about 5 weeks till we start which works well since dh is away for work ��.

Jessie this is my first ivf. I only found out a few weeks ago that there is a problem so it's all come about quite quickly. I'm so nervous though!

I'm ok, my drugs are here, I'm all ready to go just waiting for af!! I've got my usual pms signs so she should be here in the next few days!!

I've been having acupuncture since October. I hate it but as it is supposed to help I keep going. I find it quite painful and I cannot relax when I have needles sticking out of me. My husband has it too. He doesn't like it either x

I've had acupuncture on and off over the last year but it hasn't made much difference to me. I am planning to have a few sessions during my ivf for relaxation purposes. It's worth a go and it is meant to be good!

Well I did my first Lupron injection tonight. My DH actually did it we were both scared and nervous I guess just making sure we did it right. It ended up not being that bad and I feel fine.

Wishing well done on your first one! I've done my first gonal f injection this morning and the same, mine wasn't that bad.

Had my baseline scan yesterday when af started and they only saw 4 follicles so not a great start, we just need to pray I respond well to the stims now.

Glad the injections went well ladies! I found Gonal F and Lupron to be very tolerable. Menopur is what bothered me because it burned! They doubled my dose of it this time around so I'm not looking forward to it. Icing beforehand did help though. By the end of stims, you will barely think about the injections.
This will be my third time with injections and I'm actually feeling anxious about it.
