Still here :( **UPDATE PG 18 :D** pic added!

ahhh at least I am not alone then :haha: sometimes it feels like your the only one.
are you girls having any signs?

Yeah it can, wont be long now though. No signs for me, what about you guys?

Yeah does feel like your the only one and worse thing is going in playground and the mums saying you still here :-( I got sweep booked for tomorrow doubt that will work lol my husband works an hour away up m25 and my family are all 30 mins drive and have no friends here really just moved from nth yorks so I'm hoping it's a night time labour fingers crossed x

oh yes I know that one at the school :dohh: I had to stand away today cos I knew I was in a mood and may have snapped at a comment :haha:

''are you still holding on to him??'' errrr no I popped him out last week :dohh: :haha:

I had a sweep last thurs and my cervix was very favourable but did not work :( the midwife booked another one for tomorrow and I said to myself no way will I need my next appointment.....but here I am  we will see if it works, fingers crossed.

My OH work 1hr 30 mins away so I am too hoping he is here when I go into labour.

good luck to you too hun x

aw Paula, are you still waiting too. I'm so peeved off today with it all. I feel the size of a elephant, struggling to walk, can't get comfy when I'm sat down and can't sleep when I lie down.

started losing plug on saturday then loads of cramps throughout the night and this morning got me all excited. even had a big blob of plug this morning then it all stopped around lunchtime.

counted 5 cramps since 3pm and I so thought I'd be at the hospital by now.

goy a sweep booked tomorrow tough so hopefully things might progress soon.

I could have wrote this hun!! had exactally the same as you, really thought I would be in full blown labour now but all stopped :(

good luck for your sweep tomorrow...hope mine works too x

No real symptoms here... just a little cramping, backaches but that's just the norm... a little plug loss but it means nada to me since it's not bloody. in some way i hpoe it's a blessing because i would hate to have all the promising symptoms and turn out to be just a teasing game for weeks!... would rather have no symptoms then have it all hit me at once and go in labor.

that plug was a good sign though, maybe with you starting to lose it early you wont go overdue hopefully! cos I only started losing mine yesterday but have lost loooads today but no blood! hope it still means something x

fingers crossed we both start off again later or in the early hours and don't need to make the appointments. how good would that be. I'm still sat here with the tens machine pads stuck to my back lol maybe if I take them off and pack them away that will be the cue for me to start off again.

I was comtemplating a walk but just seen someone say it's baltic outside so no chance of that now.

I have my fingers crossed for us both to go overnight!!!!

I also was thinking of a walk but its freeeeezing out :cold::cold: looks like our babies might be born when there is snow!

i rather be givin birth during winter than summer as i know pregnant women are prone to being absolutely miserable during summer due to the heat :nope:

how dilated and effaced are all of you?? just wanted to see if we have any progress or similarities in that?

i'm 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced.

gosh I've no idea. should find out tomorrow at the sweep. I'm thinking I must have started dilating with he amount of plug lost.

Oh man I am sooo not moaning that it is cold lol, I really do not envy being pregnant or giving birth in the summer months :nope: I had my 1st in July and it was soo hot, not good! so I planned my last pregnancy and this pregnancy in the winter months :haha: is it hot where you are now? where are you anyway?

last thurs midwife said I was 1cm and ''stretchy'' and soft .... they dont tend to use the word effeced here I dont think

yeah, you probably are dilating! i start losing my plug the weekend after my dr gave me a cervix check and told me that i progressed frmo 0 cm dilated to 2 cm dilated within a week and it makes sense too because i never had plug loss before until i started dilating. unfortunately plug can regenerate itself so we could be losing plugs for weeks on end :brat:

paula - it's definitely winter and cold here right now, i'm in northwestern part of the united states. we usually deal with a below 60 F weather here during winter but it's been unusual weather, it's actually warmer than we are used to (staying up to around 30-40 F). cant' really complain as we didn't get as much snow as we're used to and not much snow = less ice. i was really worrying about slipping on ice while pregnant and so far i have been able to avoid that.

soft and stretchy is a good sign, firm and tough is definitely not favorable so y ou are definitely on the right track!

Oh my gosh....so thats around minus 15 degrees right? brrrrr! it has been minus 5 here today and that is cold enough. I was worried about slipping too. I am also thinking about the pram when baby is here if its snowing, may have to get an infant carrier

sounds about right.... right now it's 8 degrees F which is -13 degrees C haha... the winter we're used to for the last 5 years should have been about -30 degrees C, not figuring in windchill which can really get COLD to the point the cars won't turn over :haha:

is your version of a "pram" the same thing as a stroller here? not sure if the term is the same thing? LOL

yeah sorry it means stroller :haha:

and that is COLD do you have to go outside much during the day?

9 days over :( I think it's going to take being evicted to get this one out! Roll on Thursday.

nope, thankfully i don't really have to go out for many reasons, just for the usual like grocery store, going out for movies, dinner, etc but i think we're all used to it - we have the proper clothes and we have stuff for our cars like the plug in to keep the oil heated in the cold winter so it's not hard to start them up.

helena, is thursday your induction day?

Aww I reeeeally feel for you, I'm not even at my due date and am feeling massive & fed up! Got my hopes up for early(ish) baby when mw said she wouldn't be suprised if it came early (been measuring in front). It must be gutting to go past due date..
Sending you lots of labour dust, come on babies! :dust:

Get bouncing on the balls (blow ups, not OH's, although both might help):haha:

I asked my dr last Thursday how long he would let me go overdue (just so we all would be on the same page and I know what to expect in the next couple weeks) and he looked at me and was like "When are you due, the 27th right?" and I said yep, and he said okay let me look at something and the next thing I knew he's talking about inducing me on Tuesday January 24th (when i'm 39w4d) and scheduled the reservation for 6 am and said the induction date is there for me to take if i want to be induced on that day, and if i don't want to be induced, i don't have to go in at all.

and i'm having mixed feelings about it!!! I know i am done being pregnant but at the same time i'm not sure if I want to take the induction date and run with it??

If you guys had the induction date that you guys were free to take it (no pressure) would you do it? or would you stick it out?

Personally I wouldn't want an induction unless it was reeeally necessary. I just think it's best for things as natural as possible but that's just me xx
