Well engineer arrived this morning and the structure is safe, despite how it looks. The Party Wall Act doesn't apply in NI also so the owner can basically do what he wants and we can't do anything.
Our only issue then would be the devaluation of our property and how the whole thing looks but tbh, it looks to be such a grey area and one that could be a very very drawn out and expensive process, so I think we're done
Next plan of action is just putting house on the market and getting rid. If we breakeven we will be lucky but at least we are free
