Summer Lovin'...bring us some babies!

Jen I just showed your test to my hubby and he sees it too easily!!

You always know you've got SOMETHING if men can see it! I'm seriously going to bed at 8pm just so tomorrow comes. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve. Lol

Saralou I was going to suggest soft cups too but beaglemom beat me to it! I've been using them for a while now and I really like them. Just gives you the peace of mind that the swimmers are staying up there where they're supposed to be!

So I put on my "sexy" (ie. slutty) tooth fairy Halloween costume when DH got home and he got the idea!!LOL!! I think we've got it covered now!

Good job Floridasian ;)

I also like the soft cups because it eliminates all that mess...you can just relax & go to sleep or whatever...you can also get up after if you want. When my husband was on 3rd shift we had to do it right when I got home. So after I would lay there a few minutes then get up & go about my evening.

Sorry I beat you to it...I don't have much going on besides refreshing the BNB page :)

YES! Always works like a charm over here!

I think you should wait until the morning and I think you should go buy some dollar store tests. They're sensitive too, and way way cheaper to use 6 times a day.
I'll be using a lot of tests myself and using cheapies to afford it.
Tomorrow post a picture of your test!

For anyone who will be using a trigger & a lot a hpts, I suggest going to amazon & ordering the wondfo tests. They are way cheaper than even the dollar store & I have heard very accurate.

Yes I have those also. :) In fact I just ordered another set. They have changed the pricing and options around a lot, but I paid about $20 for 50 ovulation tests and 20 hcg tests.
I will use dollar store tests also though, and a digital or two just because it is fancy like that. :haha: After all this time, I want to read the word "pregnant" and let it sink in. That digital test will also be part of how I tell hubby the good news. :)

Don't worry...you have not upset me.

I have thought about this myself. I guess you could insist on a blood test. Or continue to take the P until you have gone long enough that you feel a test would be accurate by then. For me, I have never had low P on a blood test. P is just standard protocol at my office. If by some chance I get a positive this weekend, I would immediately begin the P again until getting to my dr. It is def something to be concerned about especially if you have a P level issue anyways. So my advice, if it makes you feel better, insist on a blood test before stopping the P. That way you know for sure.

Ahh well that makes me feel better! I'm glad you have good progesterone on your own. :D
I guess I will just do the blood test thing to be sure, and hope that I won't have to. We are paying out of pocket for everything, so it all adds up. That said, I paid $25 for preseed today - ouch!

Im thinking I can see a second line... or is it me?

Ladies I been testing once a day every morning with Clearblue digital and getting the negative sign since cd9, Im now cd15 and look what surprise I got this morning!! :happydance:

What do you ladies think about this. Since I been on metformin I have had two periods! A 34 day cycle last month.

Yay! Ovulation with PCOS sure is a miracle isn't it? You better get busy! :)

Thank you :flower::hugs:

I just scared its my PCOS but since all the other 5 I took were negative its probably real.

So how many days should I be getting a Positive for?? I took one when I came home from work too, 12 hours after the positive one this morning and its negative again

Or has my surge ended as it was 12 hours after my positive I tested again.. I could be ovulating very soon then

Well since you said you test in the morning, you could have surged yesterday afternoon and caught the tail end of it this morning. I think they recommend to do OPKs in the afternoon/evening to catch the surge. It isn't too late to BD though.

Oh my goodness Jen I'm so excited to hear if you tested again this morning...this could be it for you, girl!! Woohoo! Remind me...was this your first cycle doing meds/iui, etc.?

My first IUI is in the books! Yay! When the PA told us the post wash count was 67 million, I could tell hubby was very proud. He gave the guys a pep talk before handing them over for washing. And I elected to save money and fuss and not do another u/s, but should have had 3 follies releasing eggs!

I'm supposed to wait until August 3rd to test. I tested yesterday because I knew trigger would still be there, and I wanted to see two lines. I never have this whole time, and even if it was a false positive, it was fun to see! So I will probably test a few more times in the next couple of days to see when the trigger is out of my system. How long does it normally take, do you guys know? Then I will probably wait until the 3rd unless I am having major major symptoms. I'm usually pretty good about waiting to test, but then again I've never had a cycle where I've done all this stuff before. I think these next two weeks will be hard to wait through! But I'm just going to do my best to stay busy and distracted. For you guys who have done Clomid, I have been bloated pretty much since taking it...were you and if so did that go away after ovulation? Seriously if I don't engage my abs I look 3-4 months pregnant and I just feel gross.

That sounds like an excellent IUI! Great post-wash count - and three follies? High chances of a positive, for sure.
Yeah, it will be really hard to wait! There's no reason you couldn't test at 10DPIUI, unless it would make it hard on you to see BFNs when it's still too early. :)

Sarah after ovulation the bloating subsided. Just give it a couple of days O:)
Tell me, are those 3 folies due to Clomid or the clomid-trigger combo?

Hi Sarah! Glad everything went well! I tested again this morning and it's a shadow of a line. I'm thinking I will wait til Monday. 10dpiui is still kind of early from what I've read and the girls on my other page didn't get a real line til almost 13dpo! So, I wait. This was my first cycle with all of the bells and whistles. Lol it's fun to test out the trigger every other day and watch the line fade. I tested 8 days post trigger (6dpiui) and it was so faint. Tested 10 days post trigger (8dpiui) on clear blue digital and got not pregnant AND first response and I didn't see any lines at all. Of course now I'm wishing I saved that one because of all of this faint line nonsense I'm having! Ahhhh

Both cycles my trigger took 6 days to leave my system. Good luck.

Spotting today and feel yucky...af def on the way. But at least my timing works for next cycle.

Ugh sorry to hear that :( :hugs:

So spotting today & it has some red...also feeling really crappy...so really hoping AF starts tomorrow...ready to get this show on the road!

So a few good things coming this cycle.

1 - Husband off all week during my IUI...so he can come to the IUI & the follicle count u/s without worrying about work.
2 - My test date will be Aug 14...my husband's birthday
3 - My due date will be Apr 23...week before my birthday
4 - The weekend before IUI will be spent in baseball country honoring Joe Torre & doing the thing we love most...road tripping it!!! So we should be feeling great when we come home to a follicle count.
5 - We have my meds figured out & hopefully the count issue figured out...everything will be on our side!

I am going to also try to work out some this month. Our garage & treadmill is set up...just need a tv hook up. Also going to try to count out bottles of water so I am drinking as much fluids as I should...also getting back on to religiously taking my vitamins.

Beagle, you have such a positive outlook on this, it's inspiring. :) I'm glad that this next cycle will be easier on you, and the lack of stress has to be a plus! Good idea on taking vitamins consistently.
We've been doing our best to take ours daily. Hubby is taking things like selenium, zinc+copper, and COQ10 which is supposed to help sperm out; and we're both taking vit D since tests came back low on that for both of us. It's amazing the things that low Vit D can wreck havoc on, including fertility.

Yeh I have replaced any milk I drink with whole...we usually drink skim. Husband is on all that as well...really hoping this last one works...or to the bank I go for a loan & then IVF!
