Summer Lovin'...bring us some babies!

Yeah..I think it's called antiphospholipid syndrome. Doctor ordered the test after my m/c. Is there a name for the test for the blood clotting disorder? I wonder if that was one of the five tests I did that day.

I think it's called thrombosis or something... It causes clotting issues which can hinder implantation. I think it's more likely to cause a m/c, but I guess it could also prevent implantation altogether I suppose. So we'll see how the tests turn out. These results take 3 weeks. I'm not finding myself worried at all really... But I want to rule it out.

CD3 tests scheduled for tomorrow morning. Since I have short cycles and I tend to O early I guess it makes more sense to do it on CD2 than CD4.

Sorry for AF Floridasian. But so excited about this next month for you!!! Glad you get to get on with it!

Posting a pic with today's test on bottom (13dpIUI)....it's darker than the trigger!!!:happydance: starting to get excited now! This is the real deal! Now please I could use your guys' prayers that it sticks!

I'm positive this is the real thing, Sarah! So much for that 8% chance! Classic case of "under promise, over deliver!!" LOL!

Under promise over deliver....Isn't that the truth! I think our problem must have been getting them up there or something. I never have had copious cm so maybe they just haven't been able to swim or survive. DH is happy but terrified of triplets Bc of the 3 follies lol! (Which I'm sure didn't hurt our chances either!)

Haha..wouldn't that be nice? I understand it could be a little bit overwhelming to think abut the possibility of triplets though. When DH and I first got married one of his coworkers said she dreamed about us having triplets more than once. My grandmother had twins when she was 17 (no idea if they were identical or fraternal) but I don't think they've ever seen more than one follicle at any of my scans so far but who knows what Femara will do to me?

Floridasian - sorry about AF, but good things are coming.

Sarah - I think you guys def did it! Good luck!

I am still feeling a bit uncomfortable & bloated...but at work & able to at least walk around more than I was able to yesterday.

Congratulations Sarah O:) That's definitely positive!

Sorry about AF Floridasian... GL for this cycle!

Does anyone get sick from pomegranate juice? Every time I drink it I get nauseous for some reason.

Sarah - those lines are beautiful! I think you should go get a test that says pregnant just to show your husband that lovely word!

I don't & I actually drink it a lot. You may want to see if you can find a pomegranate supplement. Or you can try getting a mixed berry pom juice...it just doesn't have as much pom in it though.

I have to remember to start drinking that tonight & eating my pineapple & brazil nuts.

Yay Sarah!!!
Sorry Floridasian! Super glad your baseline scan will work out with weekend timing though! I hate Pom juice and it makes me feel sick too. I have to drink it with lots of water. I'm the same way with cranberry.

Beaglemom the IUI sounds so promising this time around! I'm so happy that you guys had a great count to work with this time. :)

floridasian sorry AF showed up :( What are you drinking the pomegranate juice for? Is it supposed to be good for TTC?

I heard that pomegranate juice helps build the uterine lining. My lining is thin so I need all the help I can get!

Still negative opks, and my temp went up again today. I really want to just go get a follicle scan to see if anything is even happening in there! But we really can't waste the money for that on a cycle that's probably a bust anyway. :(
I've been wondering if we should just go straight for an IUI next cycle, assuming we can get Clomid to make me ovulate. Since hubby's swimmers are still recovering from chemo last year, his count - taken a month ago - was on the low end of normal - 20 million, morphology was 30%, and motility was 20-50%(whatever THAT means).
With numbers like that, if I even by some miracle ovulated, wouldn't it be hard to get pregnant? It seems that with such a count it would take a few natural cycles to have a chance of getting pregnant - and with using clomid we don't have cycles to waste!
I don't know, I just don't want to waste medicated cycles, and after 4 1/2 years I'm really REALLY over waiting, and ready to do more complicated stuff to get this to turn into a BFP.
Thoughts?

HSG in 1 week. I am so excited to find out what may be going on and start some clomid or Femara ( I think we will do clomid first). So happy MD is letting me run the show. Not that I know everything but I like her allowing me to go at my own speed.

Minuet a path you could take, and forgive me if you are already doing this, is to do a medicated cycle and then on around day 12(since you have longer cycles) go in for an ultrasound to check follicles. Then the doc can prescribe you ovidrel and tell you when to take it to make you ovulate. Then try at home. That way it takes the guess work out for you! And don't give up hope! A close couple to us got pregnant after her husband battled cancer. Just had their baby boy in May.

Thanks all you ladies for your kind words and prayers. I'm just trying to stay positive and patient! I'm very happy but not wanting to get crazy excited because it's still so early but I really do have faith that this will end up being a healthy pregnancy. DH is so worried it's triplets. He said last night that he thinks his swimmers were just having trouble getting past the cervix this whole time so "3 eggs + 67 million sperm makes 3 babies." LOL I keep reassuring him that there is a less than 1% chance of that.

Minuet, I think you are on the right track with the IUI. Of course I don't know all the particulars of your situation, but I obviously have a soft spot for Clomid+IUI as it gave me my first BFP in almost 2 years of trying. I think if you can afford it, it really gives you the best chance. Especially since it would include washing the sperm before they inject it into your uterus, so that would get the best of your DH's swimmers. I don't know what normal is, but it doesn't seem like he has the best motility and morphology. So that basically means how well they swim and whether they are shaped normally (so healthy). Washing the sperm will get rid of many of the slower or misshapen ones and concentrate and take out a lot of the journey for the healthy guys.
