The stuff they had me drink wasnt bad, it was like drinking flat orange soda..lol but some people have said they got stuff that was thicker...i hope u have the same stuff as me :D

well hello again ladies its been awhile..... i had mine done early and have to do it again because i will be at almost 28 weeks when it gets done....the orange one is ok it just taste like very sugary coolaid. the lime one is very thick and nasty. it taste like some1 poured a whole thing of sugar in it. the orange is for the one hour and lime is for 3 hour

Both of mine were orange flavored, I dont know if I could have gotten a lime flavored one down...

last time i went and had to do the 4 hour they gave me lime but i asked for the orange and they told me no because the lime had more whatever in it

:happydance::happydance:It is my "V" day..:happydance::happydance:So happy to reach this milestone!!

How is everyone feeling at mo? I think I am starting to relax a bit more now and loving the kicks from my little man!

Thanks for the reassurance that the glucose test beverage I have to drink won't be that bad! :hugs:

happy v day to every1 who finally hit 24 weeks. i completly forgot about it when i hit 24 weeks last week lol ooops ......happy to know that my little girl would have a chance but really hoping she stays in awhile longer.... im having my 3d ultrasound the 30th of this month and sooooooo excited cant wait to see her and share pix with every1.....

I did my glucose screening yesterday and the drink really wasn't that bad. It chilled and tasted like flat sugary sprite, so a lime flavor. It did give me really bad heartburn though and made me a little quesy. I did drink it in like a minute though! It also bad lil one crazy active the rest of the day! I love feeling him move, its the greatest thing. I like to imagine what body part is poking me, etc. He doesn't seem to sleep much though.. I hope he is not like this outside of the womb.

Mine is a strong kicker too! I'm feeling him wriggle about every 15 mins or so (or so it feels) and the kicks are a lot stronger than with my first, even when I was full term last time they were'nt like this! I am sure he's trying to get out already! I think I will be giving birth to a 3 year old at this rate! Hope everyone is feeling well. x

lol.....

have any of u seen the "wonder bumpers" i know most are in the UK so im not sure if they sell them over there but i was thinking about making some just like those. they say because they go around the slats on the crib its easier for baby to breath and they can stay on longer. there not like the regular bumpers where they can use them as a step later to get out , u can google them they are pretty cool

I have not seen the wonder bumpers, I have just bought a normal cot bumper to match the cot bedding etc, will have a google!

My little man has decided that its best to sleep most of the day and start to have a party in my tummy from 11pm onwards :dohh::haha: I hope he is getting all his partying in now and then when he is here he will have gone past that stage and sleep at night like the rest of us  wishful thinking I know! His kicks are sometimes stronger but not hard yet, he still feels sweet though if I lay on my tummy which for some reason I have started to do in my sleep he wakes me up with constant kicks lol bless him

i dont really feel my little girl at night too much when im sleeping but right before i go to bed shes moving all over. im so excited i have my 3d ultrasound on the 30th and time is going by soooo fast. also we have orderd her little crib and it should be here in a week. once i get her crib im going to pull it out and measure the slats/bars and figure out how much padding i need for the bumpers....i love the idea of baby being able to breath and see right through bumpers and that they cover the whole bar not just the bottom

lol.....

I thought I would look them to see how hard they would be to make and I found this step by step video on you tube...https://youtu.be/PEwTiiiosLY...thought I would share! I may make some of these myself for the little crib I have...

yup u found the same one i did but i think instead of glueing the fabric to the padding im going to sew the material on all 4 sides more of a hem then sew some velcrow to them so they can be washed. i love the look of them but with putting the velcrow and sewing them u wont have to worry about LO pulling them off...it would be pretty quick to do them after cutting the material

Are you going to use any kind off padding or just fabric? I was thinking quilt batting might be think enough to use, something would have to be in there our else they would slouch and skid down the slats

im probly going to use the same thing they show on the video for padding but just wrap the fabric around it tight with the velcrow where it meets togather
