Team Naughties - The Best of the Rest!!

Bit embarassing but... I am petrified of needles.... does a blood test hurt?

Why for not another year?? I thought nationally the rule was that if u had been TTC with no luck for 1 year then the could do blood tests and then refer u on if that was needed (ier for help or further tests if first ones inconclusive)?? When do u get ur tests and 'MOT' done?

Not much here... AF due today, but very strangely there is no impending sign, (.)(.) not sore/swollen and no spots... and my PMT has not been as bad either... got :bfn: on Tues with frer, if no signs by Saturday I may test again then... but am thinking that it could be the vitb50 too

Hope all is well elsewhere xx

I'm not a great fan of needles either, the best thing to do is look away till it's all over, it's never really hurt me so you should be fine.

Keep us posted sounds good to me. :hugs:

I'm here!! Have been around, but mostly lurking! I don't get a lot of time during the week for posting, so usually just try to update my journal.
Glad to see you've added your ticker Pip. Guess you're feeling more confident about it. Good that the doctor wasn't concerned too.

Raz - I'm so sorry the witch got you again this month. :hugs:
Mamawannabe - good luck at the doc. I would definitely add a month or two on so they pay more attention. I'd hate for them to just brush you off because they didn't think you'd been trying long enough.
Jen - We need pics of your pup!
Mum2b - hang on in there! You really just don't know until the witch shows her ugly mug.

I'm doing OK. Tested again on the weekend and got another nice strong line. I think I had talked myself into panicking, and probably completely read a lot more into the doctor's choice of words than he intended.
I've managed to get hold of my midwife (from when I had Freya) and she's agreed to take me on again, which is great news. She's going to send a form so I can go for an early scan if I want to. I dunno though - I don't think we'd be able to see much.
I haven't been posting in Knocked up Naughties... it's weird, and totally self-inflicted but I don't really feel like I belong there.
That'll do me for now. Have to go retrieve Freya from the bath before she turns into a prune. :)

Hi Freyasmum, good to here from you, let us know how you get on with your scan.

Hi Ladies,

As you can see I'm still pregnant but to be honest all I'm doing is worrying all the time as I'm still having period pain cramps, not all the time but maybe a couple of times a day, they're not as painful as period pain but it sends me running to the loo to check for blood whenever they come on. I'm also still having stitch pains too, I walked one of my friends dogs last night with her and it just came on we were walking slowly as she's 8 months pregnant so it's not like I was running or anything????? I really don't want to have another mc as I've become attached to my little bean already.

I don't think I've ever really heard of false positives with them Mum2bewaiting - the only problem you tend to have with them is you become obsessed with watching the dates move up - as in you will NEED to test in a week or so to see that 2-3 and then a week or so later to see that 3+ - but if the reading doesn't say what you expected then you will panic like mad. Hopefully it will all develop nice and strongly though so congratulations you are definitely pregnant honey :hugs:

:happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:CONGRATULATIONS MUMTOBE ... who is no longer waiting! And you were so adamant that it wasn't going to happen. Really please for you... if not a wee bit jealous (but in a nice way!). There is hope for me yet x x x

Do you know how many DPO you are mumtobe? I think I might test tomorrow morning. I am sure I am not as got a low reading on CBFM and the 'm' button is now flashing warning me the witch is on her way!
