I can see the start of two of Summer's teeth, one top right and another bottom middle. Her gums are extra jaggy and she's drooling enough for 10 babies!

It's not bothering her, she's not in any pain. Do I still use gel? And when do I use it? I know it could still be a while yet so I don't want to really use anything if it's not bothering her, but apparently I'm being ''cruel''.

I would use the gel when she is intensly drooling and chewing things. She may not be in pain but she may be itchy or uncomfortable so you will be making things a little bit easier for her this way xx

i found the gels didnt work well as the dribble washed it away, i just discovered the powders and cant recommend them enough!!!

Thanks, what are the powders? I've never heard of them xx

they are called, ashton and parson teething powder and are made from natural plant extract, you can get them in boots or local chemists , they have been around along time but really work ! x

Ive tried quite a few different gels and found dentinox works wonders. My son has developed definite discomfort signs and that when I use the gels. At the age your lo is I mainly used teethers and things I could chill which all seemed to help (we had drooling and jaggy gums for months)

I also use the powders and they really do work.. the bonjela she just licks off before its even in her mouth :haha: I got mine from morrisons  x
