Appointment with the specialist went great, I'll be seeing them again in about a month. But the Ultrasound went GREAT!!!! I'm measuring eight days ahead!!!- making me around 13 weeks 4 days.... And the baby mooned us during the ultrasound!! The pics I got are below.

Sorry Ive been MIA.. been crazy at work and home this week..

We went for our NT ultrasound and also got the results to the bloods for chromosomes abnormalities.. and everything came back low risk!!!! Sooo happy.. We also found out the sex too... Its a !!!! So happy everything is good.. We did a sex reveal with the family lastnight (sounds weird.. hahaha) but we hid blue balloons in a box and decorated the box and tied ribbons around it. Then our daughter who is almost 5.. Cut the ribbons to reveal the blue balloons.. Everyone was over the moon excited!!

Work and life has been crazy this week, hoping to start looking at names now and purchasing some maternity clothes.. My jeans are too tight even with elastics now. uuuugh...

Melsue that is great news for you, too! It's so exciting that people will be finding out the sex soon! I take it you are happy with a boy! I really want to do some type of gender reveal party like that, too, but hubby doesn't seem too on board.

I feel very strongly that I am carrying a boy. I don't have any great reasons why, I just have an overwhelming inclination. I guess just a few more weeks before we know! I may be in the minority here, but I feel like this pregnancy is going very fast! I may change my mind as we get closer to November.

In laws coming to town tomorrow, having a squabble with the hubby about cleaning the house. I don't think he quite gets what it means to make a child inside of you. There's a good reason why I cannot do absolutely everything I used to do. I got about 95% of our 2 story, 4 bedroom home spotless, and I made the mistake of asking for a couple minutes of help tonight and that was apparently not ok. Yes, I was off work today, but I work the next 4 days in a row, so I don't feel like it should be too much to ask him to pitch in. I also made dinner for the first time in weeks, so I at least had a very productive day. Sorry for venting. Just had to get it out.

Glad to know I'm not alone! After sitting on the couch in silence for probably 15 minutes (bc I didn't want a true fight), he finally got up and did what I had asked him to do and all seemed better after that. He was in a much better mood before bedtime and again this morning, so I guess it was just a quick bad mood. Lol

Of course, my pregnant brain started making it out to be all these other things, but I'm very glad I didn't verbalize any of those thoughts to him bc I know they were crazy.

We were happy either way boy or girl... I had a feeling it was a boy but would have been ticked pink with another girl.. They just seem so easy... Boys are pretty crazy when they are little.. At least my husband was... Oh the stories Ive heard..... So we are a little scared hahahahaha... But Im excited to have my little boy for sure... Im tickled blue!!! LOL

Hi ladies! :wave: I kind of had to abandon bnb for a little bit, I've been so busy! I took a mini road trip down to Florida to spend the weekend with my husband, drove back home, hopped on a plane to fly across the country for a family visit, flew back a week later and just got my husband back a few days ago Thankfully everyone in my family is super laid back and caring enough to let me sleep as much as I needed to while I was there in between catching up with everyone lol - it's been an eventful few weeks..

I have my next appointment on Wednesday and I'm so excited - my husband actually gets to go with me this time and it's the first time both of us will hear the heart beat. I'm happy we get to hear it together and he gets to be included, he was kind of upset he didn't get to go for my first ultrasound.

I already started showing a little over a week ago - and I'm only 12w5d today.. Everyone is teasing me asking if I'm sure there's only one baby in there lol. I started thinking it was mostly all bloating, but it never goes away. I'm shorter than average though and was already a little thicker (I wouldn't say I was overweight, but I was definitely not slender), so I'm wondering if that could be it too.. I just look at my tummy all the time and feel I look 2-3 months more pregnant than I am - I guess I should just be happy that people say I actually look pregnant and not just in the 'maybe she's pregnant, but maybe she's just chubby, so I'm not going to ask' situation lol.

Amber - so glad you have your dh back and that he gets to join you at the dr this week! I cannot imagine going through any of this with my dh gone for long periods of time!

I feel like I'm still in the "is she just gaining weight and chubbier now" phase, hoping an actual baby bump pops out soon bc I just look like I have a beer belly which is so not my natural shape. I'm normally very curvy in the boobs and butt, but not my stomach.

Good to see all of you ladies.... So my little Monster has decided to push the nausea button on it's handy dandy control panel of mommy once again. I was so glad when this started easing up around 12 weeks -.- but noooo, nausea had to come back and NOTHING want to stay down -.- erg

So sorry Dragon! I haven't been sick, but I have definitely had a few nights of nausea/food aversion over the last couple of weeks. I'm guessing some hormone is surging right now.

Thank you Tex. I'm sure it's the hormones and a sign my little monkey is doing just fine. Between the mood swings and not feeling good again I'm feeling sorry for my DH.

Felt a little stretching near my navel and small flutters in my abdomen. I have a ultrasound this Friday so I'm happy about that and we might see the sex of the baby )) Fingers x'd for my little boy!!!!!

I definitely feel the stretching. I feel like my belly has really popped out in the last week. Hoping I am finally looking pregnant to strangers and not just fat.

I have felt some very slight movements when laying down, but only once or twice and like I said, it was very slight, so I don't know if it was the real thing or not.

I have my gender scan next Tuesday (6/16) but I won't find out the results until Saturday at our gender reveal party. So excited!!

Afm some might remember last monday i fell down the stairs and spent 4 days in hospital due to a migraine tht wouldnt shift without strong meds. Well i had soo many different scans i was reassured there was 'minimal risk' to baby but they really have to check i hadnt done anything, well she did a scan monday when i got there because i had pain in my tummy (just bruising i know now) but didnt show me. I felt baby on a nearly daily basis before then but since iv only felt once in a week and half. I had midwife last friday who is lovely shes great but when i voiced my concerns and asked to hear heartbeat she hesitated and said its too early! Im not sure if she was just being polite about my weight but i am getting really worried now and go on holiday sat i no im going to think about it the whole time x

Oh wow, that's strange! Hmmmm maybe you can visit a E.R? Idk why your midwife wouldn't let you hear baby that sounds pretty suspicious to me.....
