the playhouse is up

Well, I was originally going to put her playhouse up on Christmas Eve, but my mom decided she couldn't watch Aliyah that day, so was going to do it Wed. and then something else came up, so today was the only day I could do it. It's up in her playroom and I've moved some of her toys into the living room and hopefully I"ll be able to keep her out of there until Christmas!

The steps are also cubby holes to store stuff and I left them open thru to the playhouse so she could store stuff from inside too

The door doesn't exactly close all the way in, but I'm not going to worry about that. I'm so glad it's finished! Now, do I wrap it? Put a bow on it? Wrap the doorway to the playroom? Or nothing?

I love it. I Want one for my kids ( ok, for myself). Pintrest has a few ideas on diy bows. I would wrap the playroom door. Or cover the doorway in paper for her to burst through. We do that every year and the kids have so much fun.

Going to head over to pinterest to look for the diy bows. Why didn't I think of that? LOL Pinterest is where I got the idea for the playhouse. I think I'll put a bow on it and wrap the door. I got that idea here last year and thought it would be fun. And dd is only 2 yr 7 mth, so I don't think she's really going to be as thrilled with it as she would be had I waited until she was around 4. She'll love the doorbell and the loft but I'm not sure about the actual playhouse. We'll see

That's lovely! Any kid would love that! I think a big bow would be nice, if you're not up for making one I've seen them at dollar stores around here, not sure what's near you though. I love the idea of wrapping the door too.
