Things I cannot say out loud....

Mine does it too!

Me: Here, take LO, gonna take a quick shower

OH: k no problem I got her

Three minutes later, LO is playing peek-a-boo with the shower curtain with the assistance of, wait for it....Daddy!

And then he asks her if she wants a shower and I end up giving LO a quick shower.

*sigh*

What is it with men thinking we want to shower while our LO stares at us?! I thought it was just my husband! Jeez guys, we have them all day let us shower alone and watch your kid!!! They weren't upset in the other room so deal with them! They'll be happier with you if you just bond with them more!!! I've had to flat out say I am taking a shower alone without anyone looking at me, including James! Just shutting the bedroom and bathroom door wasn't enough of a hint!

My OH does this too!

Gimme 5 minutes to do the ironing "okay"
5 minutes later... RIGHT BEHIND ME "There's mummy there look" :dohh:

Ah I'm lucky that OH doesn't do that.

To me: you better not be pregnant

Earth- we've had Earthquakes, then a Hurricane, then today- a Tornado???? Can we just have some nice Autumn weather please?? I don't have to wait again in the bathroom with my baby for another thirty minutes waiting for a tornado to pass.

:shower:

Oh my god! The "there's mummy there, say hello to mummy!"
I'm trying to hang up the washing I asked you to hang up this morning!!! :dohh: go AWAY, entertain her in another room!!
Poor mizzdeedee! I shall not complain about drizzle and 1" snow again! :hugs: hope you're ok! :( xx

Actually, I was wondering why so many of you can be interrupted in the bathroom?! Do you not lock the door?! I always do, even if I'm in by myself...

Hahaha... I wonder about that too.. though I will admit Oh will let me take my time in the bath, but I hear her cry and I always get out... it bothers me to hear her cry...

I used to lock the door when I lived with FOB, but then the cat would cry & pull the carpet up. So I'd be doomed if I was still living with him. Lucky for me, I can lock the door at my mom's & shower/bath in peace :D

You are so happy to be home aren't you? I bet you are.

My husband doesn't intrude when I'm doing my buisness, so no need to lock the door, they only come inn when I'm showering/brushing hair&teeth/make-up etc

To person I just met last night - Really? You ask how old my "tiny tiny baby" is and I say 6 weeks. You have seen me nursing her all evening. And what you choose to say is "Shouldn't you be back at work??"
Really??
:dohh:

To other person I just met last night who asked the same question - I said she's 6 weeks, not 6 days, of course I'm up and around! I have been since the day after she was born!!

To my half-aunt (she is my dad's half-sister) - all you ever post on FB is which wonderful expensive location you and your OH will be jetting off to next. So screw you, I'm probably going to put your name on my ignore list, I'm sick of seeing your bragging when I can't afford to take my daughter to meet her granddad.
Also. You will be 8 months pregnant (with your first, yes I had a child before my aunt did and no, she is not very close to my age) in November. SO you might not feel up to traveling to Mexico then... I would NOT plan a trip so far away in my 8th month of pregnancy, but I probably know more about pregnancy than you do since you "don't actually like babies".
Also also, WHO SAYS THE ABOVE when they are PREGNANT???? You don't like babies? Then.... what????
