Things I cannot say out loud....

Jaxon please sleep tonight, I know you have a very bad ear infection, and it hurts, but please sleep. Mommy and Daddy cannot take another night of 2 hours broken sleep. At least today I got to stay home with you, but your poor father had to fight to stay awake at work.

Medicine please kick in soon so the pain goes away and the ear infection clears up. I hate having my little guy sick and not feeling well.

Thank you Jaxon for sleeping last night, and thank you for feeling better today so you could go to daycare and I could go to work. Love you monkey!

To all my friends with babies younger than Hayden - please stop posting things about your babies Sttn, I'm tired after only 3.5 hours sleep and I have PMS. It really won't be my fault if I come and slap you all :)

Michelle- hth bit my DD doesn't always sttn yet and she used to when she was first born. Take joy knoing most of their kids won't sttn forever.

Sophie slept through from 8.5 months to 12 months. And then after that she hasn't much really. I think maybe 10-15 times since she turned 1!

Thing is my first sttn from 8 weeks old with no training... kinda assumed my second would do the same lol!
thanks ladies :)

Maria still doesn't sleep through most nights. Last night she was up for half an hour around 10ish and wouldn't go back to sleep so had to bring her into bed with us. Urgh.

Josh doesn't sttn either, but he's very good at self settling & it's rare I have to get up with him.

I don't think any baby sleeps a solid 12 hrs without waking once, it's just whether they can settle themselves.

Well after my moaning yesterday, he slept 6:30-4:30, bottle then stood in his cot (just learned this) for an hour, cried once and went back to sleep. Also Tabitha slept 12h solid (she has been up frequently @ 1am for cuddles as she has just cut her first 2 year molar). Feeling positively refreshed today and don't want to slap anyone :)

Ooooooooo couldn't keep away eh?! ;) hi Hun, missed you.

Hi Ozzie! They must've missed you lol
On the subject of sttn flynns aways been one to get up in the night and wouldn't self settle I had to cuddle him for ages, we decided to get him a big bed (can't be doing with toddler beds so its a proper single that we made low with low sides)

He now (usually) sttn if he does wake up he self settles he's excite to go to bed and the best part is that when he wakes up instead of standing in his cot screaming till we go in for him he just quietly goes off and plays with his toys or stands on his chair looking out the window. We spent ages baby proofing his bedroom and have a gate on the door so he can't go wandering it its worked out great! He loves playing in there now so if I have housework to do upstairs he goes in his room to play, ditto if I have to pee!

:shhh: It's a secret lest the BnB admins come down upon our heads and shut down this thread!

Naw, I just came back to tell you guys I'm alive (excepting those who were on my Facebook and already knew I was alive)

That's great Tanya! Might need to think about that soon, Jenny is still not a great sleeper and I'm not sure what else to do!

Lol Ozzie, you better behave! :smug: :haha:

Yo Oz

I want breakfast but I'm too lazy to make it *sigh* When are children old enough to be trained to make breakfast?
